  1. Worked OK for me. No virus warnings. Ken
  2. I'll be getting in bright and early on Thursday morning. Look for the ugliest home-made camping trailer at Wildwood campground that evening, and that will be me. Ken
  3. Congrats Grandpa. Enjoy. Thanks anyways JB. Looking forward to the next contest. Ken
  4. Thats a long drum roll JB. Ready to pull the number? My fingers and toes crossed like for all other contests. Ken
  5. Hey JB. Could move up the date on the drawing so I can have the Caterpillar at Lincoln City next weekend. I just know I'm due. Ken
  6. You might consider this. (will the link work this time?) Multi cutter/sander Ken
  7. Happy Birthday JB. Whoo-Hoo!! I'd buy you a drink but got in-laws coming in tonight. You'll just have to celebrate without me. Ken
  8. I disagree with Carl ( sorry buddy) I am happy with Oregon for the last 17 years, after living in LA LA Land for 30 years. (thats why my address is not shown. Can't find me Carl) I am in the Portland metro area, and if I could, I would move to a place on the upper Oregon coast to a place called Devils Lake. It is about a mile from the coast. I could fish in the lake when there is no wind at the beach. Ken
  9. I am interested also, just wondering how much? I like the way the differant colors swirl. ( can you guess what color combo I like?) Ken
  10. Those are some cool stakes. Can't wait to see them when your website is up and selling. Ken
  11. Even with Theresa's great deal, It cost me quite abit. ( I spend xxx.00, and then wife spends xxx.00 ) *fair spend agreement.* For sure, bound to see you soon with this nice weather. Ken

    Rev EXP?

I'm planning on being there too Got to try the modified Jump, and some new Prism stuff Spring is here! T Wish I could have made it there, but Sunday is always the 1st day of my workweek. ( major suckage ) *can I say that?* Only way for me to have Sundays off is to ask 2 weeks in advance, or call in sick. And with this weather, my boss would have been tracking me down if I called in sick. Maybe on a nice Thursday or Friday ( Mondays I work 7am to 7pm) Thanks for the offer. Now I think I will go find a gloomy corner to sulk in. Ken

    Rev EXP?

Yep, it was only a matter of time, I knew that resistance was futile. ( from another program I like) With the son, dragging him away from the PC that I myself am so addicted to, is not so easy. He is at the point where friends so very important. A course that changes when I take him out for his driving lessons. The kite flying is to calm my nerves. Just wish we had more stable wind. Oh well, it will come. I think our Basset Hound has more interest in the kites. After I get it out for it's maiden flight, I'll update. Ken
  14. I could see getting over that way from Beaverton, 1 of these days. With my conversion to "the dark side", I would have to bring my new rev. I just don't know when. But it is always nice when someone suggests a new field to try. Thanks Ken

    Rev EXP?

Ken, The assumption is that you purchased a red and black standard sail ... correct? And, your first day of flying went how? Cheers, Tom Yep, it was the red and black. Sad to say, no 1st day yet. Had too much on the Husband / Dad "to do" list yesterday. Like Pennys suggestion, I see an indoor Rev sometime this coming fall. Ken

    Rev EXP?

Thanks T. I am looking forward to flying my new ( 1st ) Rev. It was killing me today to get the kite, and have to spend the afternoon doing family stuff. I have now joined the dark side! (Watty?) I like 1% milk to go with my Oatmeal/ Chocolate chip cookies. Ken
  17. Sometimes even in shifty wind conditions, I don't know that the more experenced flyers can adjust fast enough. As a 1-2 year newbe, I have had kites literally tumble out off the sky when the wind shifts 180 degrees. Ken
  18. I have been staking down my bag to keep it from blowing away. But I like the idea of the surveyers tape on the stake also. And I see me making a wind sock in the future. Ken

    Rev EXP?

That was some great info. I am also in the market for a Rev. I left an old fashoned message on your answering machine today T. When people like Mousie make their custom Rev's, are they just buying spar sets. I see myself with a custom down the road. Ken
  20. Yea, nice looking bags. I know what it's like trying to sew long straight lines. Not easy. These are some sleds I made to give away, and some seams have a little curve. ( bought the RS from T. @ the kiteshoppe) I was thinking myself with going with a hard sided golf club bag with small bipod legs to keep the opening up off the ground. Keeps the the inside stuff dry, and hopefuly the sand and debris from blowing in.
  21. It is just to spread the gospel, Brother John. Can I get an "Amen" from the congregation. And I am just happiest enough with IE for now, no change to firefox. Thanks though.
  22. This is the 1st I've heard of these sites. They sound like great ways to get videos sent around. John, if I copied a few of yours and IQuads videos to send, would this be copywright infringement? Thanks
  23. Have them add just a little soap to the pool. Then wash and fly, no other cleaning required.
  24. Enjoyed the flying and the music. Ken
  25. Not quite, it connected me to youtubes web page. Where I work, we only have intranet access, no internet access. I would like seperate attachment that downloads , then runs on windows media viewer on whoevers PC. It that making sense?
