Well Photomom, you tricked me ! In North Carolina, when one says "GO PACK GO", one is normally referring to the "WOLFPACK", as in North Carolina State University, in Raleigh, NC, hence my earlier response, where I mentioned the "class of 71", of which I was a part. From now on, you'll have to be a little clearer (Pack = WolfPack & Packers = Greenbay) in your quest for support, here in North Carolina, anyway. And yeah, yeah, yeah, I know the "WOLFPACK" is having a tough year, but it happens............... Again, all in fun, even though you did trick me, and yes, I did kinda wonder about your color choices, in your original post, but GreenBay never crossed my mind.....duh!.......Sorry, but I just don't follow Pro ball. But I am following this drawing, and somebody is going win, TOMORROW ! Hope it's you!

Well, I suppose they might be useful, for a "cruiser" like me, but personally, I just couldn't warm up to them. Initially, I thought I liked them, but after a while - no offense intended towards anyone, just my opinion, I decided I liked the Black Rods better......... I flew today, on the beach, and on the dunes, in 18 - 25 mph winds, with gusts up to 30...........and yep, I was using my trusty old Black Rods.......and I think I'm perfectly happy with them. There won't be many times that I need anything, any stronger, so I'll stick with my Black Rods !

Good review there, SV, and as much as I enjoyed reading your detailed take, on the green sticks, I likewise, stick with my earlier comments....... "Green Rods are green rods, Black Rods are Black Rods, and they are different" . I suppose you nailed it, thought, I just didn't know what to call it, but I knew there was something different, besides just being stronger. "Unloading" - that's the term, and I agree............Here, here ! Oh, IMHO, also !

Glad to hear you're ok, Photomom........ TV showed things to be pretty bad (Atlantic Beach), down your way. I think Nags Head had some really bad flooding, especially, sound-side. Hwy 12 is a disaster, with breaches in several places. I can't imagine what would have happened, had this been a Cat 3 or 4...............We've all been blessed, for sure. Now for the folks stranded out on Hatteras Island. That's going to be a real mess. Take care.................

Hey Photomom, Based on reports and TV footage, you've had a terrible experience, over your way. Looks like you guys took the initial "landfall" hit. I hope your damage wasn't too severe. Hey Photo mom, I really do wish you the best. It's obvious now, that you guys are going to get the "C _ _ P" kicked out of you, over there in Carteret County. Hang in there, and please, please be safe. It's going to be a rough night for you, I'm sure. Hopefully it will be over quickly. I've got a friend up in Nags Head, that I talked to this afternoon, and I could definitely hear the "concern" in his voice, even though he said he wasn't worried about it. NOT - I know he was, and he's got three properties, plus his life, to worry about............. Good Luck..........
