I'm agreeing with you, RR!! Sounds like Baloo is getting WAY TOO COMFY with the RNG!! Currying favor with it, I presume?? Ain't gonna work with the impartial, inhumane, machine that it is!! Sounds like you're close to doing a stall and axel, with those moves!!

You've heard right on the flat spin!! Try doing 360*s as close to the ground as you can!! It's sort of a pull 180* and see if it'll go all the way around!! Start by letting it travel in an up and over, then as it flies away, let it get close to earth! Then give it a pull! You're missing out on some cool videos over on FB! Several groups over there dedicated to gliders!! Another is a tight line dive with a flare out! Most gliders will accelerate on a tight line and dive a bit! Do that and just as it runs outta height, slack some line to let it flare!! I might have some advantage using a wand like I do, but here are a couple of "tricks"!! PS: I also do a copy of JB's "Tornado" with a glider!! Again I use a wand to do 360* turns around and around myself, only changing speed as I travel!! PSS: I got a Chiroptera on order from Will!! So any ideas that you have, are greatly welcomed!!

I was waiting for it - and it finally came!!! THE CONSPIRACY THEORY!!! Might be a bit of truth to this one, computer based systems and all!! Now how do us "lesser humanoid types" defeat this and WIN???

From the pic you provided - thing looks big!! Measures 10' x 4' !!! I'll be interested in hearing how well it tricks, considering the size!!

A simple key ring will do the trick!! For me, I use a wand for 3 reasons: 1. - Leverage! The extra length that the wand has, adds to my overall arm length!! This works really well with heavier gliders!! I find that I don't have to work as hard to keep it moving!! 2. - Eyesight!! My eyes aren't good enough to ever find the line if I ever dropped it!! So this method of using a wand helps me keep track of the line at all times!! It's always in my hands with that key ring on a finger!! I do use preset lengths of line for all but 1 glider, so far! 3. - Flex! I've managed to find wands that work with my kites, not against them! So far, every kite seems to behave differently from one another!! Each, IMHO, needs or uses a different wand to get the most out of them!! I've seen many that don't need or want them, that's their choice!! But with my situation, using them works extremely well to make things as easy as possible and to enjoy gliding!!

No problem with anything!! Just had to laugh about it!! John is Kitelife!! He owns the mag and has made a bunch of tutorials for dualies and quads!! Look them over and learn some great stuff!

REAL KITING??!! That's so funny to hear!! And I was one that thought the more lines, the more fun!! I have to admit, I'm at both ends of the spectrum on this one! Mostly I fly Revs outside (quads), but indoors I fly a Rev and indoor single line gliders! Who thought there would be so much fun to be found at the end of just one line?? Caught me totally off guard to find so much pleasure flying a SLK (single line kite) inside!! It's not so much "real" as serious kiting!! Tricks take some time to learn and there's an investment you have in learning what you and your equipment can and can't do! John's put together some very good tutorials and there are others on learnkites.com that will get you started!! And if you get the chance to meet and fly with others, go for it!! Shortens the learning curve a lot!! Real kiting!!! Cracking me up!
