  1. Now we're getting somewhere. For the record, I would enter this one in a heartbeat, but I try not to enter the drawing following my own to give someone else a chance to win.
  2. Urban Street and the B2 video
  3. Thanks, JB, for giving us the venue to meet and share and explore this all together
  4. Our box says milled flax seed. Probably same thing
  5. maybe some flax seed too
  6. I like how the trees in the background sort of look like the ocean with some white caps.
  7. I hope that's the case.
  8. Most important to make sure that the kite is symmetric. If there is more width on one side of the center spar than the other, it will not fly straight. If one cross piece is more flexible than the other, it will not fly straight. I doubt that adding a streamer to the right side would help, but it would be worth experimenting. Like JB said, cheap kites fly cheap.
  9. come on folks, this is a shot at a great opportunity! you need to get in on this. coming from one who has spent a weekend flying with JB, you won't regret it.
  10. That's what I was trying to say
  11. Can you show us a picture of the kite, especially how the flying lines attach?
  12. Hey that puts us really close to the reserve! Awesome!
  13. Scott's drawing is posted. I'm locking this one down. Congratulations, Scott and Marshall. Thanks everyone.
  14. The prize is yours to do with as you please, Scott, so I have no objection. I will make arrangements with Marshall for the Simplex kit. I am working with Scott to get his drawing posted, once that one is up, I lock this one down.
  15. Scott! Lucky number 3. Message me and we'll get it worked out. Congratulations, brother.
  16. Alright, entries are closed. I'm going to do the drawing.
  17. This put a smile on my face just now (again), thanks Barton. It's what I do! And the sentiment is still true.
  18. Oh you crazy daredevil KAPers!
  19. Are these 6 the only ones who want a chance at this prize? I would like my odds folks.
  20. Thank you, again, HQ kites!

    Kit Bag

I use a 48" Into the Wind Bag to carry my kites and a Husky Tool Bag from the Big Orange Box (Home Depot) for carrying linesets and stakes and such.
  22. The speaker has arrived safe and sound. I am looking forward to getting out on the field and pumping some tunes. Now if I can get some waders for christmas, I might be able to get on the field and not get too sloppy, since it is a muddy mess right now.
  23. Damn. I'm less than average. You don't know the damage that causes to my psyche. I have to buy 4 more. I ran some more numbers...median is 5 and mode is 2. So, you're not less than "average" by other definitions of average. You're right, I should call 8.75 the "mean" not the "average"
  24. All, I have updated the Global Count List over on the Rev Forum. You should head over and check it out. If you aren't on the list already, leave your numbers over there and I will add you in the next update. Pretty impressive. 2777 kites between 317 pilots. That's over 8.75 Revs per pilot.
