  1. I think the NYM is different from either of those. Ben is doing his own thing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Wow that was fast. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I have line sets with both LPG and Skybond. The skybond slips better and a LPG is stiffer and does not stretch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I think that JB pointed out one of the most common places where you get twists. When you finish winding do you let go of the ends before you secure them? And when you unwind do you let those ends dangle a bit before you secure them? In just a moment they will twirl around and add the twists. You may be doing everything else correctly but in those brief moments allow several twists to get into your set up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Two ideas. 1) hide your camera in a old clunky VHS camera with some duct tape on it. No one wants to steal that. 2) sign at the camera "Notice the .45 on my hip. I know how to use it!" Of course #2 may not be politically correct in your area. :-) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  13. Shenkman's video is still great even though he did it 15 years ago. JB and some of you other pros may find it out of date, but I figure until you can master that control and those moves you can learn from his video. I know it really helped me. I still love watching him play with people. The control is amazing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I was a Barton Guinea Pig with a couple of sets of his adapters. They were easy to install with minimal tools needed. I really like this style and they work great. This does add 1/2 to 3/4 inch to your handle length. The change didn't bother my flying at all but some may want to cut the tube down to preserve the original length. For the tops I just did the plastic anchor and screw mod detailed by Nick. For longevity the Barton adapters are far superior. You can see your line and any wear. The short change out pig tails are next up on my list. One more thing... I'm in! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. Any way to fly with friends? I was on a really slow track to learn to fly the Rev until I met with a bunch of people at the Carolina kite festival. Super friendly and very helpful. I finally got it and have really been expanding my skills ever since. If you can't make it to fly with others then hang in there. Stop. Breathe. It really is easier than you think. Lighten up the grip and just start to feel the maneuvers. Take great pride and sense of accomplishment in each new small skill learned. Just keep flying, it will come.
