Palmahnic Posted December 2, 2015 Report Posted December 2, 2015 Sure, be happy to. Open tapatalk, choose "following", choose "Kite Life", swipe to "unread" section. On any of the blue marked topics, there are three symbols: star, 🌟, check box [emoji819], and conversion bubble, [emoji187]. Hit the check box on one of these blue marked topics, and it should make it disappear, and not come back until a new comment is added to that topic. Now, either go back to "following" and in to "Kite Life" again, or instead swipe down to refresh the unread section, and you'll see the topic you already marked as "read" coming back to the unread section. Hope this helps.

John Barresi Posted December 10, 2015 Report Posted December 10, 2015 I'm here to help if the problem can be replicated.
SparkieRob Posted December 10, 2015 Author Report Posted December 10, 2015 Couldn't replicate on the Tapatalk Apple app. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1

I'll go through this post and revisit all of the mentioned glitches to see if they are gone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk maybe you need to clear the cache and then try again ?
John Barresi Posted December 11, 2015 Report Posted December 11, 2015 Unlike a browser, I think there is minimal caching in the TapaTalk app (IOS, Android). It is what it is for now, @Palmahnic has us here to help if the problem occurs again.
Palmahnic Posted December 11, 2015 Report Posted December 11, 2015 Well, for me it keeps on doing it, but nothing to be overly upset about, just keep calm and post on... 1
Palmahnic Posted December 16, 2015 Report Posted December 16, 2015 Subforums not coming up at all. On Tapatalk, Android 6.0.1.
SparkieRob Posted December 16, 2015 Author Report Posted December 16, 2015 Subforums not coming up at all. On Tapatalk, Android 6.0.1. Guilty of never using that function. Doesn't come up on iOS Tapatalk either. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
John Barresi Posted December 16, 2015 Report Posted December 16, 2015 Argh. Will research, thanks for your patience and understanding.
John Barresi Posted December 17, 2015 Report Posted December 17, 2015 Does this look like the screen we're talking about? Sub forums tab shows nothing when I go to it - definitely seems like there should be something.
SparkieRob Posted December 17, 2015 Author Report Posted December 17, 2015 That's the one I see. But. I can't select it on the menu. It has no tick box next to it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
makatakam Posted December 17, 2015 Report Posted December 17, 2015 Aren't the three lines on the right a list that can be opened? I could be wrong. Please don't shoot me if I am. Just a thought.

makatakam Posted December 17, 2015 Report Posted December 17, 2015 Aha, haven't tried to access from mobile devices yet, haven't had the need. In other apps it will open a list.

It used to be that you would get all the site forum directories and sub directories when tapped on one of those and on and on. If you wanted to go to a specific section to submit a new post on a brand new topic, this would be the tapatalk menu to do it in, otherwise there is no option for it.
John Barresi Posted December 17, 2015 Report Posted December 17, 2015 Tada! I think we're good now. TapaTalk just released a new version and it seems to have cured the problem, I used the aforementioned (previously missing) list of subforums to drill down and reply here. 1
SparkieRob Posted December 17, 2015 Author Report Posted December 17, 2015 Working down here too! Yeah baby. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
Palmahnic Posted December 18, 2015 Report Posted December 18, 2015 Yup, works. The unread still shows all the way back to "hello cato" message, or something like that, for me. No one else sees that?
John Barresi Posted December 19, 2015 Report Posted December 19, 2015 Probably just needs that "all read" status to sort of restart. 1
John Barresi Posted December 19, 2015 Report Posted December 19, 2015 YAY - stick a fork in this baby, it's done. 1
