Chuck Lohre Posted June 14, 2016 Report Posted June 14, 2016 I all. I'm new to this group but an avid kite flyer. Nowadays I'm more likely to be flying my full scale glider. I purchased a "Incunabula Wright Brothers 1899 Kite" years ago at some museum and just haven't had the time to build it. Please let me know if you are interested. I also have a Flyer Kite and will post after I find it. 2 Quote
windwarrior Posted June 18, 2016 Report Posted June 18, 2016 Picture would help with a decision for sure. I'm curious Quote

John Barresi Posted June 19, 2016 Report Posted June 19, 2016 Saw one on display at the Smithsonian, it's kind of like the original quad line kite ('cept the handles are upside down - top and bottom reversed from handle to kite). 1 Quote

Chuck Lohre Posted June 22, 2016 Author Report Posted June 22, 2016 Hi All, I think I paid about $80 for the model. Please make an offer. Shipping would be extra. Thanks for your interests. Quote
Hasek Posted June 23, 2016 Report Posted June 23, 2016 I'm kind of amused reading your post Chuck. I am not meaning to be a jerk, however you have something for sale and don't name a price. I am not saying the following is your intent at all, but some people don't post a price so they can get different people to essentially bid like an auction. People that do that should just put their stuff on an auction site. Again, I mean no malice or disrespect in the above. They are just opinions/observations. That kite is pretty cool. Since you are taking offers, I'll offer $65 + $15 shipping to Fla. Quote
