New here, been flying since mid 90s, My first kite was a Flexifoil Impulse. Then a Scorpion...we used to fly in Team in Italy, I was STACK ND From 94 to 98, organized many competitions and one EuroCup. Stopped flying around 2003 and starting now again. So many new tricks. 

I fly both dual and quad. Refreshing my kite bag I got recently Benson SuperNova set and SuperFly set. Amazing kites. 

I own Revs, Prism and mostly Benson kites.

I occasionally fly in Berkeley, usually when there's some event. You've probably heard of the Berkeley Kite Festival that happens in July. The Bay Area Sport Kite League also has a few events there. 

I fly at Shoreline park in Mountain View more often (although I haven't been flying much lately, other than at events). There are a number of regulars at Shoreline, some of whom are also on this forum.

I know the Revs disappeared...I was surprised too! I sold and bought more kites in the past 3 weeks than...ever? :-)

i fly sometime on Saturday at Shoreline, since I work in Sunnyvale, but frankly it’s not that great, wind is ok, but the ground is really harsh. I’d rather drive to a beach when I can. And I just discovered Aptos beach..great spot. 

 

Yes I used to go at every Berkeley and San Ramon festivals... then I stopped :-) but that might change now.
