  2. Thanks so much riffclown. Your tutorial is much better than the one I had seen years back. I understand that the 1.8 is a bit short for this but just thought it would be fun and give a wider speed range Me and a soaring buddy did similar line crosses a few weeks ago. Our lines didn't fair as well as yours but it was great fun.

  3. Definitely worth your time to do. I've done a lot of these conversions and I'm of the opinion the 1.8 Sport size is the absolute lower limit for these conversions. Here's a video on John Barresi and Scott Benz with a Rev and a Symphony 2.2(.4) I converted.

  4. All righty then. Seems I'm in a rut at repeating myself but this is my favorite so far. I still see predominantly white kites best. Not as distinct as it used to be but still do. Plus I'm kind of a minimalist in most things. Although I'd do umm well I'd change uhhh I'd alter.... Never mind.

  5. I never got a Kymera. Kite plans have changed so much since I started flying I can't keep track anymore. Pain in the ass but something I obviously don't mind living with LOL.

  6. @Corey Bell Winds were 10-ish.There were a few gusts to 15 and occasional lulls to nearly nothing. Framed with P300 spars. Pretty happy with the choices I made all the way around.

  8. I believe it is being discontinued. ITW is the manufacturer and wants to clear their stock. Other vendors bought for the full wholesale price and are used to keeping stock until sold. It is a great price, I picked up both the Kymera and Hydra when they halved the prices. When they announced that both were going on clearance a year ago, I half expected an announcement that KiteForge.com was launching a new dual line.

  9. It is pretty new over here. The Level One kites and the Matrix line sets have just become available. The one person that might know the most would be Paul deBakker, but he might be a bit biased - him and Nic are the Level One USA distributors. Link to the site: https://www.levelonekitesusa.com/
