That is full size, for an indoor. lol Seriously, this is the size, nearly final design. You ever try and swing a 7-8 foot kite around indoors? Especially on the short lines, larger wingspan greatly limits both maneuverability and flight detail. iNak is smaller, Wren is a hair bigger (I believe), for comparison. Echo might be around the same size. Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app

Do we know, is the ABS using a polyester sail? If so, Icarex or something else?

Nice one Richard, congrats!! I’m deleting your address here and messaging it privately to the sender. For the Monarch, send me a couple of good photos, maybe a YouTube link(?) and a little info about the kite - happy to set up a new post for you. Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app

Well, how about that. video-1509069698.mp4 Not bad for 5' lines, 0-5 mph cross breezes in a covered (but open air) parking area. Taking it indoors tomorrow, kind of excited!

So I just made this... Not the first kite I’ve ever made, but it is the first indoor - framed mostly in .098 carbon, eyeballed the bridle (3 point), flies pretty well in my back yard but I’m looking forward to tuning it after a proper indoor test.

Hi all, For quite a while now part of the KiteLife archives have not been part of the main database, accessible only through a hard to find link to one of the original site formats... We've just stoked up the engines again and are slowly bringing some of our issues back online for folks to browse. Latest: http://kitelife.com/magazine-archive/kl-archive/old-issues/archive-1999/issue-8-mar-apr/ http://kitelife.com/magazine-archive/kl-archive/old-issues/archive-1999/issue-9-may-jun/ A few choice images to whet the appetite: == Presently, issues 1-9 and 20-present are available, we'll be working as time allows to complete work on issues 10-19. Yep, as of this writing we are just TEN issues away from having all archive work done. It's a tedious process, but I'm looking forward to it being completed. Thanks all for your support! == NOTE: We stopped using issue numbers after #81 Nov/Dec 2011 and went with a pure blog format (articles added as they became available).

Make a signature of your name, in reverse flight. It's how I became fully comfortable with it. Also remember: Hands higher than elbows = forward tendency. Hands lower than elbows = reverse tendency.

Looks to be a Cuben Fiber sail? Frame is definitely light enough to frame a ghost judging by the flex it shows after strike inputs. Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
