you are sure they are two different thickness (picture)? i have a skybond set for quad with the same slaving, withe/black for left handle white-red/black-red for right handle (mi choice). you are saying you have two sets for quad but you show just one(?). for sure if you have two sets second one (not show in picture) is white and black slaving ore same like this for easy recognition left right if you let the lines attached to handles.
may be use a Co2 canon or any other launch systems but the problem are the lines if is more then one and is no way to predict the wind speed and direction after launch to may control the kite.the shot will be or to low and the kite will fall before to be controlled or overshot damaging lines, kite or both
you may slingshot a kite just if is a glider and after initial launch you will not use lines. in any angle you will launch the kite the lines will become to short or if you chose to make the launch with slack lines is no way to know how much the kite will rise at maximum slingshot altitude to have the exact length of lines and that because you will encounter wind on consecutive launches at different altitudes. balloons already mentioned is a viable option and now with all drones models you have a second option but you will need a second person for controller. if you problem is just for single line kites you may do that alone with the kite anchored and detach the drone or if the kite is having enough lift you may let the drone on of mode
your picture is not attached correctly but that disks most of the times are from bungees knots to protect the holes throw sail at the attaching points with end caps.May be from leading edge or one of the spars. Check all ending caps and for sure one on bungee knots miss that black ring. If is not missing that means from packaging you have an extra
i am new to this but a longer bar will help at turn also will require less force (at least this Archimedes demonstrate),of course the neutral point must be at around 10 inches from hips and not necessary the hands to be at end of the bar
Great, i done that after the first fly two or three months ago. i will try to find a slick tube for my 1.5 full went. The mesh is rubbing on spare and i see already some damage. happy to see there are others to make the same adjustments like me
both, fast reactions needed and strong hands to control a full sail on hard winds.on top of that lines and frame will be under big stress. to strong lines means you will break the frame,to small lines and you will snap them.
you are wrong DrZettl , the full sail, mid vent and full vent are overlapping at the ends speed of wind but never may fly a mid vent on full sail lover end or full vent high conditions.
make time and come to Milwaukee kite festival this Saturday, mike will be there and me to. is a great man and you will have a taste of see and feel a Rev
