  1. I've been gone awhile, but i'm back!!! Purple is my FAV color!!! Hey JB, ur comin to Berkeley yeah?!!
  2. just out of curiousity, how much does that "kite" weigh packed up?
  3. Bring a small bottle of water with you . Round bottle works best. Put it on the bottom inside of the kite before u go back to ur Stake. Thats my standard op procedure. Have fun. Welcome to the addiction Dunno aboot hipnotist but im sure you'll have a ball. The Prism dvd is also a good buy too
  4. Nice kites Boxboy. Who do you work for or worked for? Brown army? CD sounds interesting. Anybody gonna get it?
  5. So is it a nice spot? How big? berkeley size or marina green SF size?
  6. I remeber asking for a vented too! Cant wait to take it out to Berekley! Make mine Purple to match my Std please!
  7. If you knew folks that'd help you out with thier kites to decide, but an SLE to start out with would be a good idea. Or try a quad-line foil kite. iI dont see too many supers out here, but all power-kites.
  8. I'm gonna want one too. LMK when ur ready to sell!!!
  9. Givem a call, they might ask if you wanna buy 10k worth a kites but dont be deterred by Ben, Lolly's hella nice. Revolution Kites 12170 Dearborn Pl. Poway, CA 92064 Phone (858) 679-5785 Fax (858) 679-5788
  10. Well if you like it enough u could buy a white Rev and paint it ur self. But the Rev folks think that the patent on Revs is forever and nobody else should "copy" them. Cool kite tho.
  11. Uh oh now u gone and done it. The Revolution faithful are gonna freak out over this one
  12. The one's that where supposed to come w/ my B series look like fishing weights so yeah.
  13. Pretty kite--I'm sooooo jealous!!!
  14. +1 on the Revs. I just picked up a B series and SLE this Sunday. That's 4 Revs now. The addiction continues..... Dont forget the other kite forum http://www.gwtw-kites.com/forum/default.asp
  15. I like the advertisements first off. Then the "how to" articles of making a kite, that's uber cool. I just started with the last issue. Dang i had such a crush on the Patrick Nagle chicks. I think its page 50. It's a shyshark ad.
  16. Lots of primo flyers in the Seattle area. No prob finding a nearby hookup. But I can assure u the NapaValley has NO kite shops. Oh well. But Bodega Bay Mosdef does, so if u ever get out there ur good to go!
  17. Ive got 2 Addictions and find them hard to trick, but that's me. pretty kites nonetheless. good starter kite for lawn darting tho i lost the top spreader twice and called premier-they sent me parts for FREE. So premier gets my vote for customer service Never had Nexus but I think you'lll have an easier time trickin. Dont forget the Newtech BLK for uber windy days!
  18. ur linkys dont work. or maybe my comp has spywares
  19. Tails are good for slowing kite down on a windy day, plus fun to do figure eights and corkscrews and infinty loops!! If its not that windy try a flat tail- they don't slow the kite down as much as a tube/tail in any case i's go with a 100' tail I did the five section tail thing. didn't like it. ended up buying a flat/tail to color match a couple of my kites. So if your interested in taking my huge tail off my hands- its two 25' black/white tube tails, two more black/white tubes but the srtiping is a little longer, then a red/white/blue tube. All in all 100' + in tube tailage. Lemme know. i bought Premier, and Gomberg and NewTech tails if memory serves. PS on the beach be carfule with your tubes cuz they'll pick up sand!!!
  20. Oh Hell Yeah!!! This is gonna be an awesome Xmas for me!
