  1. I am still looking for the smaller version of the original Prism roll up bag.
  2. 100 lb bridle line with the core pulled out. I insert a sewing machine needle and heat with a lighter to keep the ends from fraying. You will need #8 or #9 (or less) super ultralight high "E" guitar string, bent in half, as a sleeving tool.
  3. Pay a little more ...and get either the new Widow Maker Pro, or the Lam enhanced Silver Fox 2.2
  4. I like the "Kite Party" model it is a great format for a gathering of flyers. It's the one gathering I have attended most often (outside my local clubs Fun Flys). Why aren't there more?
  5. Dyneema is spectra, just a brand name. 80ft should work just fine for you unless space is a barrier on your flying field. I make line sets but don't work with anything over 90lbs. Andy

  8. If you're just looking for 2 or 3 kites, and not interested in slack line tricks, by all means get kites that you like to look at in the sky. That is what it is all about.

  10. Team KiteLife Sunday afternoon.
  11. As for the Sport Kites, most of what you have are collector items. If you want an indoor kite the Wren is still one of the best out there. They are still popular at indoor festivals. The Tica is a keeper and the Luna Moth is just a great kite to see in the sky. Any of the 1.5 Revolution kites will get you started in quad flying. IMHO sell the others and buy some modern kites. I can't tell you much about the single line kites. Andrew
  12. Prism Fan Boys have an inflated devotion to the nostalgia of 1990's kite flying. I am guilty of this myself. I used to keep a 'Lix in my bag to pull out once a year for old times sake. The going price of anything, is what people are willing to pay for it. I personally wouldn't pay more than $185 for that once a year fix. Now your "Moonie" is another story... 😉
  13. Here is a link to the hidden "Easter Egg" from the Tim Benson/Andy Wardley DVD Trick or Treat. Sent from my Lenovo TB-8705F using Tapatalk
  14. Can you list what you have? Maybe post a group picture? And, maybe move this post to the Kite Classifieds section?
  15. I use a rubber band twisted in a loop on each lower spreader, pulling them toward the center "T".
  16. It slides into the tail end of the spine and is secured by the velcro strap on the sail.
