  2. I have little use for a vented B2. Psych!! I absolutely need this kite! Android OS ~ Tapatalk2
  3. Congrats Nick! Months of intense bantering has paid off Score!! Android OS ~ Tapatalk2
  4. Excellent flying! Flying on limited space limited wind is always impressive. Sliding on the net looked challenging, and like fun! Cool to see '360s done within a tennis court! I really like how you show the transition from day to night. The whole video looks good, but it really pops during the sections filmed under the lights! The layout on your 'Pro looks especially cool under the court lights. Merry Christmas to you! Android OS ~ Tapatalk2
  5. *announces loudly* I HAVE NO NEED FOR THIS KITE! ALSO I'M THINKING ABOUT BUYING ONE!! Also, I have agreed to name my first-born Arrengee as was discussed... Now, can I have my B2 please? You know, I heard even Santa has no influence over the RNG. I wrote him a letter, asking for his help with the RNG. He wrote back, said I was better off just directly asking for the B2 as a gift from him, um, directly. Android OS ~ Tapatalk2
  6. Merry Christmas KiteLife-ers! I hope your holidays are filled with kite related goodies Android OS ~ Tapatalk2
  7. Congrats Jay!! Android OS ~ Tapatalk2
  8. Congrats Tim! Android OS ~ Tapatalk2
  9. I can't believe how everyone is so willing to give away MY new power kite! Mine. Android OS ~ Tapatalk2
  10. Haha awesome! "and this years award for goofiest kite team goes to... " You guys rock. I can only imagine how much fun that was... BTW, I was hoping to see John do a slow cartwheel/handspring over everyone at the end there, but I guess the high-5s will have to suffice Android OS ~ Tapatalk2
  11. Yeah RNG!! Use your powers for good. For once Android OS ~ Tapatalk2
  12. I've mentioned this before... If you want absolute control over RNG, your only option is to withdraw from the drawing altogether. Be a master of your own fate! Don't sit around and wait for a deity (ahem!) to tell you you didn't win. No, spit in RNG's eye and proudly announce "I'm not going to win because I say so!" Android OS ~ Tapatalk2
  13. Its NOT a pro B2?? !! Um is there such a thing now? Ok! This is absolutely the drawing I've been waiting for... I'll be calling on all my powers from the Dark Side. I'll be evoking the arcane. Bantering on the highest of levels. I'm going to forget everything I know and understand about "odds", and my odds of winning, and I'm going to will it to be! GIMME GIMME GIMME MY B2 Its going to be a long couple of months.... Android OS ~ Tapatalk2
  14. Contracts Ron! Geez, it kind of sucks to not win this one in particular. Jealousy ensues! Android OS ~ Tapatalk2
  15. @ --Pete - No one expects the Spanish Inquisition! I am here for one reason and one reason alone: to win this Indoor Rev. And to make friends... Ok! 2 reasons! To win this kite and make new friends. Oh, and to trade kiting tips and tricks... Ok! 3 reasons! Win kite, make friends, share tips. Oh and to make with the silly banter..... 1,2,3,4 reasons... Let me start over! No one expects the Spanish Inquisition!!! Hopefully RNG is down with 'Python. Android OS ~ Tapatalk2
  16. The RNG does work in mysterious ways.... The force is strong with photomom! Check out the Dark Side, drawing folks further in..... Congrats Karen! Android OS ~ Tapatalk2
  17. I think I have a good way for Must86 to show some more interest in the Dark Side - join and participate over at the Rev forum: http://www.revkites.com/forum As is here, the force is strong over there Sent via Android smartphone using Tapatalk2
  18. I don't have any video, but a goose flew into one of my lines as I was flying over the pond at my local park. It wiped out big time, after hitting the line it tumbled hard into the drink. I felt bad for the goose, and fortunate that it didn't hit the sail of my Rev B-Series or knock it out of the air into the pond water - nasty stuff. Recently, I've noticed that dragonflies like to perch on my lines if I hold them still enough. I had 2 today hanging out on separate lines at the same time! Tomorrow I'm going to bring the camera with me and try and get a pic or vid. Tapatalk 2 ~ Android
  19. I derive my enjoyment from flying the Rev in changing orientations compared to the direction I'm traveling in. For example, traveling horizontally while the Rev is upright, traveling horizontally with the Rev facing backwards, etc. Then doing it all smoothly... Flying in this manner provides near endless variations and combinations of position and travel. Tapatalk 2 ~ Android
  20. Congrats Joe B! Tapatalk 2 ~ Android
  21. Hi Rob, I don't count you as a Dark Side-er, you don't have the Rev itch, based on your reply. I'll take the time to setup even if I've only got 15 minutes to spare! But you'd make a good candidate you've got the social aspect of it down! I feel the same way about dualie trick kites that you do about Revs..... Except I don't fly my dualies anymore. Ever. On Fridays when the Las Vegas fliers get together, I'll fly a dualie to appease John Chilese.... But I'm bored with it after a couple minutes. To each their own, different strokes for different folks, etc. etc. But, when you do finally come over to the Dark Side you'll have plenty of support right away! You can be my wingman anytime! -Dave Tapatalk 2 ~ Android
  22. Ah. Snackin' on someone's hopes and dreams again, hey RNG? Tapatalk 2 ~ Android
  23. I think RNG's answer might be "jellybean." My answer would be - definitely maybe Tough to have a decent conversation with 'ole RNG. His random nature, and the weird noises he makes while thinking, can be a bit unsettling. He's a good listener though and is sometimes generous Tapatalk 2 ~ Android
  24. Welcome efiniluvr! I agree with the above - when it comes time to move beyond flying simple spins, it helps to find some people who know how to fly tricks and learn directly from them. I spent almost a year and a half trying to figure out dualie kite tricks on my own (using dvd, internet, etc.) I almost gave up on trick kites entirely. That is, until I bought my Revolution kites.... Anyways, now I've found where the locals fly, and with just a little help from my new friends, and some practice, I'm doing tricks like K2000s, proper snap stalls, and I'm even cutting cleaner corners. Good winds to you, enjoy your flying time, welcome to the forum! Tapatalk 2 ~ Android
  25. I'm not partial to the color red whatsoever, but I like the look of this kite. I like the red center panel, and I love the way the SLE design looks while in motion, spinning around. Like a sawblade in the sky. Plus, I could use the SLE frame to prop up the hood of my truck if I ever lose the one I have now! Hey RNG, I'll take this SLE a.s.a.p. ! Tapatalk 2 ~ Android
