  1. Me too!! Just need to survive 2 1/2 more hours of work Sent from my [device_name] using http://KiteLife mobile app
  2. Awesome and congrats! If I didn't already have a vented Lam kite, I would have grab this one. Glad it found a good home! Sent from my [device_name] using http://KiteLife mobile app
  3. It's close to flying like a Rev. It's basically the same size as a Rev 1.5, however it has a bit more weight to it because of the two extra spars along the back. These keep the sail more flat and prevents legs from kicking out like a regular Rev. It's a similar flying experience, but not exactly the same.
  4. @SHBKF very nice Invictus! I've have two Horvath gliders on their way. His "I'll be back, Darling" combo. @Breezin Glad a Cadillac save you buddy. We'll try to give 18 wheeler's a little more distance with it. In two weeks we should have at least five Symphony 2.2.4's together for a large fly/pillow fight! @riffclown @Mike Klaiber @John Barresi @windpoacher/Eli Russell and myself (Am I missing any other owners for that weekend?). Stoked!!
  5. When I came home one day last year, there was a 2016 Cadillac in the driveway... I have plenty of leverage in the "Another Kite?" domestic arguments, it's now just a roll of the eyes LOL

Good to know Tim, that should place the Enigmini comfortable at 20 MPH. I hope I do see you at Corolla next month. I told JB that I'll work on my quad skills during the weekend, but after that I want all dual

Way more people at the kite festival than I expected. There wasn't any space designated for multi line kites, so I ended up flying a SLK. Here's a cute video of a guy and his son looking up at my kite. https://www.facebook.com/100014127408250/videos/370104050137172/

I never met Steve, however comments about him have always been very positive. After buying an Enigma UL and flying it, I just could not resist. I'm planning on taking it to a Kite Festival today. Winds at the Kite Festival are going to be 16 - 17 mph, which should be prefect for a small heavy vented kite like this. I'll see if I can get a video

Since this post started about high wind dual line stunt kites, I thought I'd share this. Here's an Enigmini Vented that I picked up from the Steve Tapp collection sell off. Based on it's size (6 ' 2" x 2' 5") and it's heavy framing (P300 spine and Black Diamond 5PT spreaders), it should prove to be the highest wind dual line stunt kite I own. The removable vent covers are something I've never seen before and should help it's lower wind range (which I'm sure is still pretty high)
  10. I've signed up for the Robert Brasington Workshop in Morehead City, NC on July 14th and 15th. I hope to learn a ton about making kites.
  11. I just realized that 4 must be a significant number for me. The V II GP I received from Lam Hoac was also #4
  12. So what are your numbers? I have Kaiju #04 Sent from my [device_name] using http://KiteLife mobile app

    Lumokites Vega UL

Of course you can flying them both or anything I have. The Vital S is a really fun kite to fly! The Vega is large, slow and more precision oriented. However it can trick, but not as good as the Vital S.

Thank you! Finally in a point in my life that I can get some of these newer kites. Love the older ones I bought many years ago as well.
  19. I can tell all the indoor flying I've been doing is helping my outdoor skills. Yesterday I was flying dual on 80' lines and was able to do a 540. Something I've never accomplished before. Indoor is helping me get a better feel for line control and gives a pretty decent workout[emoji3]
