Wayne Dowler
I gotta admit to being a bit conservative with my banter on this one, as I'm very much Rev-centric!! But my son does need a decent middle wind dualie, so I'm keeping my dog in the hunt!!
RobB
I have to say something about this... I would love to fly it ! I was hanging out with Dodd a few years ago when this kite was new, and watched him put it through it's paces. Pretty impressive, he was working on some advanced fllppy-floppy Euro tricks like the Comete and whatnot. But when he went back to some old-school tricks, the kite was magical. Effortless, it seemed, for him to transition from one trick to the next. The only regret I have is that I didn't get to fly it then, he was too interested in flying the kite that I brought out to the field. I got a lot more out of watching him fly, anyway. Well, whoever wins this is in for a real treat ! Good luck all... and watch out, I think my lucky number is back in the running !
Wayne Dowler
Alright - what happened to all the "banter" on this?? 2 days now and all quiet on the kite front!! About time to unleash some "influencing"!! Now that feels and looks a bit better!!

John Barresi
Just to twist the knife... Good friend, Dodd Gross playing on this kite. I first met Dodd in '91 at the AKA Grand Nationals in Jacksonville (fire ants and no wind), had an AWESOME time tearing up the circuit flying Tracers with him in '92, lots of good times since - and he makes nice kites!

Wayne Dowler
I'm getting a bad rap here!!! Dualies got me started years ago! Yeah my vision won't allow some of the new tricks that require great timing, but I do own a couple of them still! Even had one out on New Years Day, right John? Just because I've become Revcentric doesn't mean I don't appreciate a good dualie!! OH NO!! What am I saying, a (good) dualie? Can't resist the "Darkside"!!! Please don't send the Rev police after me, really I'm innocent!!
Tmadz
I've learned dualies are like golf clubs. Some are just made to do some things better than others. They are all essentially the same, but quite different. I need this one to keep filling out my bag. See. I don't even have an A bag. I just have a bag so far.

I had a SLK octopus that I used to fly from a fishing rod, did that for a very long time. Psst 977! Tapatalk for iPhone.

John Barresi
I also remember the Southeast Stunt Kite Championships (SSKC) in South Miami Beach, attended in '92... And, the Little Acorns Kite Festival during the mid 90s, same location. You're right on time, lots of good things ahead!
