App and Tapatalk issues.
John Barresi replied to peterbruusmadsen's topic in The Web Site (nuts and bolts)
Just confirming, this is only occurring via the app(s)? (TapaTalk / KiteLife) Anyone experiencing issues logging in using normal web browsers? If so, mobile and desktop both, or just one? My initial suspicion is that TapaTalk hasn't yet updated their app for the latest version of our forum software. Let me know, thanks all for your interest and patience! -

Forum upgrade later this summer...
John Barresi replied to John Barresi's topic in News from the Webmaster
Not so much later as expected. Despite the forum being down for 2-3 hours today, we finally got the upgrade completed. I'm pleased to report everything is essentially in the same place and format, with a slightly different aesthetic details and a few added features you'll naturally bump into as you use the new system more. Thanks all for your feedback and support! -

John Barresi replied to John Barresi's topic in News from the Webmaster
The front end update is fully public, still making edits to content based on feedback but it should be hopping right along, elected to use the tutorial pitch video on the home page for now. Thanks all! -

Yessir, TK and I both have one now, and I believe there are 12 or so distributed around the world so far, plus Mikey's. 4 of those 15 total are in the KiteLife Family (me, TK, @windpoacher and @Flight Risk).

Remember when I described "burying your hands low"? That, and less literal handle torque may make things smoother.

Often times when folks initiate the inverted lift, they do over tilt the wing in n effort to "get more reverse" when in fact it's more like a car - gotta apply pressure and wait for it to load / speed up rather than adding more tilt, it's a fine line.

Totally being facetious - I still chose it to follow up my Pro, since we can't get them anymore - I'm flying the same kite you are, and it's kicking butt.
