*bump* Time for a new drawing...

I've had to hone a "set" of moves, phrases and attitudes in order to maximize impact over the years, but it's still an uphill battle to bring new fliers from the general public (non festival situations).

Hi all, KiteLife is doing a little European tour starting this Sunday (8/27) and we won't be in the office to ship physical products like leaders, bridles, stickers etc until 9/22... Feel free to place orders if you wish, just understand there will be some delay until we return. Thanks for your patience and support!

15ft is a bit long for my taste but it does seem to be the standard sold length - my preference runs closer to 10', mostly having to do with common available overhead and the direct connect between me and my kite. 10' and 15' will be just fine, easy enough to nip and tuck on the fly if you need to during the meet.- 90 replies

Glad it worked out Joe.

No files here, Karma drawings are purely user to user - just send @drdemonx a private message with the info. And of course, we all look forward to seeing what you put up for the next drawing - just let @bbailey49 or myself know if you need any help setting it up.

Congrats @Mitch!

I know Steve Huff is making his own Jordan Pros these days (personal use), he should have quite a lot of info available. https://www.facebook.com/steve.huff.961/posts/1918486901744137

Aye, any kite requires some degree of footwork in the lightest winds, can't be helped. What can be helped how the kite handles (stability / trick), how well it creates sail pressure (flight) with an even draw on both lines and durability relative to your skill, balanced against what you're willing to spend - speaking generally, there is quite a difference as you go up every $100 or so.

Just switched to a Goon RDA, still mixing my own juice, running at about 29 watts.

Also note, the Spectra bridle knots are now all glued - I seem to remember @Paul LaMasters asking about this a little while ago, it's been adopted.

Although this quad workshop at St Anne's sold out a while ago, ONE SPOT HAS JUST OPENED UP due to a family illness - we have adjusted the registration form to accommodate one more sign up, it's likely to go fast! http://kitelife.com/forum/store/product/51-uk-quad-clinic-aug-31-sep-1-2017/ Remember, sign up form doesn't work in special apps - web browsers only.- 90 replies
