Nigel, you are a nice guy. Paul, you are too. Man, yesterday was fun. Sent from my Nexus 5X using KiteLife mobile app

Do you not actually basket weave them together?? That would solve the all white back without changing the materials at all. It would also be fun to play with where they weave in order to get some colors to show clear and form a pattern or picture. Also, the back white is a less intense white than any of the front colors...So they show through more than if it was the same white from the front tails. I like the RWB on this one. What if we took and overhead view of a team line and put it at the bottom of that graphic? Kinda like this:https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2ZyaoDcHD8XNS1xRVF6T2VIbnc/view?usp=drivesdk But more artistically done of course... Sent from my Nexus 5X using KiteLife mobile app

I am a fan of the three kites in one graphic. While it may not be the right thing for this particular project, I would like to see it done with just the kite and each of the three kite typed picked out a bit more clearly through color use. I think that that could find future use somewhere. While is is hard that JB is so clear in what he wants it makes me more interested and excited to see where this ends up. I really like the RWB sports style kite logo. I would like to see that done with a quad. [emoji6] Sent from my Nexus 5X using KiteLife mobile app

I have been wondering if you could get/make letters for a word using the quad and dual style handles to make the parts of the letters. The quad handles have a nice bend to utilize, and dual handles could be manipulated to be straight or round or bent as needed. Sent from my Nexus 5X using KiteLife mobile app

Does anyone know why the "no kites" request on this logo thing? Is it because of the transition away from specific companies? Sent from my Nexus 5X using KiteLife mobile app

This looks like proof that the Egyptians flew kites ok no teams- both in life and in the afterlife. I like the clear imagery of it. Sent from my Nexus 5X using KiteLife mobile app

Now that I have looked closer, I get the image. Honestly though when I first saw it I thought it was a world map looking down from the North Pole. I don't know why....Never know what your brain draws on for first impressions. Sent from my Nexus 5X using KiteLife mobile app

Is that for me? How did you know just the right colors to make it?? Man I am jealous. But to be honest I just ordered a bunch of fabric and parts to build a quad....And ordered those exact colors. We may match -kinda- yet. Sent from my Nexus 5X using KiteLife mobile app

Did chat die on everyone late last night? It just self closed mid conversation on my windows laptop last night. It was a good kick off time for me anyway... Sent from my Nexus 5X using KiteLife mobile app

While I agree with you about them not lasting a lifetime of regular use, I do think that they last better than I would have ever expected. With the number of bangs, bounces, over loading gusts, bowties, tip wraps and mistaken setups, ocean surk rolls, puddle dunks, dragging on grass past dandelion puffs attempting to get relaunched from flat that I have put my sails through.....Well I am shocked at how good they still look and work for my beginner self. I mean, if they were not so sturdy would OPK be a real term in the community? That all said, skipping on basic cheep improvements that are widely known to increase longevity ain't cool either... I really hope my quad doesn't bounce much more. [emoji6] Sent from my Nexus 5X using KiteLife mobile app

Hum, I think you (and your likely sore shoulder) do more to make my point than disprove it. [emoji16] That ain't "a single purchase for a lifetime" territory. I have been debating what is my upper acceptable limit on number of quad kites to own....Needless to say my thoughts vary by the moment... Sent from my Nexus 5X using KiteLife mobile app

Who do you know that is a lifetime flyer and only has one quad? or even just one bag of quads? Haha Sent from my Nexus 5X using KiteLife mobile app

Thanks to all for a great Virginia kiting weekend. It was wonderful for my family to get a view of what I have been up to... seeing the team flying (not matter how bumpy looking) really helped them understand and buy into my enthusiasm in a new way. I still think balancing family and kite time will be an ever challenging act of focus for me, but all of the friendly inclusion that the kiters at Blue Ridge and Buena Vista extended to my family will surely make it smoother going. If you are interested, here is a link to the local news coverage of Buena Vista's event: http://www.virginiafirst.com/news/good-news/buena-vista-hosts-first-kite-festival/692905270 Now, off to pay attention to the rest of life that have neglected for two weeks.

Ok, thanks. Right now we are struggling to find a place to stay that seems reasonable. Seems it is high season and I don't know anyone to find the sweet deals[emoji6] Sent from my Nexus 5X using KiteLife mobile app

That is really worth checking into. Beauty and the beast fits our aged kids nicely. And wouldn't it be nice to have another story where thier first exposure to it wasn't Disney? Thanks. Sent from my Nexus 5X using KiteLife mobile app

Unfortunately I found out about the kite festival after the dates were set and the reunion is that weekend and too far away. Gotta go as that is the reason for traveling. Will have to make a point to look at festival dates earlier in the year next year. Sent from my Nexus 5X using KiteLife mobile app

Home safe but late, big grin still plastered to my face. Thanks for a great weekend. So glad that I got over the brain freeze caused by crossed lines. Gave me lots to chew on in my next few months of flying. Looking forward to a fall clinic and more team flying. @Mike Klaiber @John Barresi@mystainedskin I talked the family into heading to the Blue Ridge Kite fest this coming weekend. Hoping to see friendly faces there. Is there any chance of flying fun in the I-81 corridor on Friday??? I am soo hooked.

Yeah, was going to ask him this weekend. But while JB is the font of all knowledge, I figured asking everyone would be polite and maybe enlightening... Who knows maybe I would find a flyer to meet up with?? Sent from my Nexus 5X using KiteLife mobile app

Thanks for the thoughts. I am hoping to hit the coast, just I don't have much control on this trip. I was going to take a kite and hope for a chance to fly. I had to ask as sometimes you get surprising answers. Sent from my Nexus 5X using KiteLife mobile app
