You may want to consider using something like 303 protectant. I know some famous kitebuilders used it in the past on nylon for UV protection, and it should be a little less greasy than Amor-All.

The pro is framed in skyshark nitro and the standard is just skyshark. The sails are the same.

I am selling my Sturdy Designs Saber II. It is a custom layout built by Will himself. Skyshark framing with Nitro Black Diamond lower spreaders. This Saber is in good condition with a lot of life left in it. I purchased a Saber III (airX version) several years ago, and this one doesn't come out of the bag now. This would make a great starter kite for a beginner--it is fairly slow and precise, a true polyvalent kite much like the R-Sky Nirvana. It has a small dark stain in the center of the sail near the upper spreader. There is also a pinhole near there, discovered it while taking these pictures. There is also a small pinhole to the left of Will's signature near the keel that has been repaired with CA. When the kite was fairly new, a seam failed at the end of the spine. It was repaired by Will himself and only obvious if you are looking for it. Apart from what is listed above, there isn't that much wear. The nose is still in good shape and the bridle is almost new. Flying wise, the Saber series is a fun kite. All the tricks are there and it flies great on top of that. It was primarily designed as a competition kite, and excels at that. There are plenty of videos of Sabers in action on Youtube. It likes half-axel based tricks, jacobs ladders, and is effortless at two point half-axel landings. It tracks straight lines and sharp 90* corners. Asking $185 Shipped in the lower 48. Don't hesitate to ask any questions.

It's a 2.3m (91") kite. About 36" tall with about a 32" long spine. I'm guessing Christian named it because its more of a trick monster rather than monster in regards to size.

I forgot to add, for those new to dual line tricking, the frame on this kite is very resilient to abuse, yet still very tricky.Very good for learning tricks. Its a medium sized kite, so the reduced stiffness of the 6mm isn't an issue.

It is built to the designers original specifications:Leading edge: 6mm pultruded (one piece)Upper Spreader: 6mm pultrudedSpine: 6mm pultrudedLower spreader: Skyshark 5pt black diamond Sail: Icarex and Mylar with Icarex pinstripes. LE is Dacron. APA fittings with RSky Center-T. Nose is Bisonyl.And yes, that is polyester florescent yellow contrasting thread!It has the Derefat feel that some of his other designs have. Very tricky, great jacobs ladders and super pitchy. This kite is a real looker. The only build flaw is that my machine dropped the pointed-part of three stitches in two of the pinstripes--only noticeable if you look for them. Look hard in the last picture.No holes, tears, or any heavy wear; the kite is over all in really good shape. I have been home building like crazy and have more kites than I can fly.Asking $190 plus shipping (keep in mind the one piece LEs may make shipping a few dollars more than normal--not sure about this though).Please don't hesitate to ask questions.
