That's a problem. Prism uses a special spar, a little bigger than 5mm, and heavier. It's not your run of the mill lower spreader. Having said that, prism actually show a way to temporarily fix a split spar like that, similar to what JB described, on their kite manual PDF. You should be able to find that PDF on their website. I've done this fix before, using some kite string and then covered the whole thing with super glue. It actually held on for quite some time, and that spar was broken in two!

On the quantum it's a no-brainer. When you feel your arms are about to fly off with the kite, pull the bridle until the knot touches the high wind tab. If you try to take off and the wind is too low for the kite to lift, pull the bridle until the knot touches the light wind tab. Any other situation just leave it in between the two tabs. Don't be afraid to pull it all the way till the tab gets to the knot. It won't change much but the pull and the speed, which is actually a lot. 😂😜 Seeing as you're progressing so nicely, lookup Dodd's 6 step video on YouTube and get to work! I learned the axle, snap stall, recoveries and even the flic flack on my Quantum. Great durable kite!

I believe the solution you might be looking for is a "webinar" with only the instructors having video and everyone else having the ability to text or voice their questions. It gets too much of a cacophony if you have everyone being able to have a video feed. Problem with Skype and Hangouts is that the main window goes immediately to the last person making audio, so all it takes is for someone to have an opinionated dog, or even just a bad case of the sniffles, to steal the live feed permanently 😂

Try using a sharp needle to get it undone, but yeah, like Rob said, I it's not something you want to have on your flying line, i.e. the lines that you attach to the two hooks on your kite.

I also wrote about experiencing this a few weeks ago, it's an unfortunate part of the site upgrade, although not that big of a deal.

Also, the reports are that it extends the wind range both ways, and tricks better. Of the series it's reported to have the best results. I needed a good standard, with a slow big kite feel, and I very much connected with the videos, and the conversations I had with Krijn on it. The standards I currently own are the ATM, which I don't connect well with, and the Deep Space, which I love for its different qualities, but I prefer to fly and trick a little slower, for now anyway. Oh man... And the post service here is the worst. It's probably sitting in customs in some bag, all miserable, waiting to see some Israeli skies..
