Haha, I don't have it yet, those are the pictures I got...

Yeah, John, that's what I'm getting. It used to be that you would get all the site forum directories and sub directories when tapped on one of those and on and on. If you wanted to go to a specific section to submit a new post on a brand new topic, this would be the tapatalk menu to do it in, otherwise there is no option for it.
-
Ok, I'm sure you'll figure it out now...
-
I think you got it! Krijn Hemminga made it, and was very helpful and forthcoming in the process, with pics and development reports.

Here is a small part of it, a hint, if you care to guess...

Kite waiting... It's the best, and the worst... You chose what new kite you want to fly, you chose which wind type, picked your colors, and you wait for it to be built... Maker is nice enough to share building snapshots with you, but that just fuels the waiting monster... finally he says "it's done" and you couldn't be happier, just need to wait until he ships it... Then you get a message with a tracking number and you start to get really excited... but just then you realize the you stand before the longest wait: the post office lingering... Every morning you hit the post tracking website, and every evening before you sleep, and at mid day of course, for good measure... They might as well put up a tracking update saying "Yeah we know you really want this kite, so we're taking the long way around"... Why?? why must the wait be so hard, so long.. It's the worst... it's the best!

Stillness & Clarity Hydrofoil Kite Surfing VIDEO

Not my thing, but that's pretty sweet! -
Well, for me it keeps on doing it, but nothing to be overly upset about, just keep calm and post on...

That's quite a Micron stack!

Is there a comprehensive "KITE" dictionary online ?
Palmahnic replied to DeafThunder's topic in Beginners
I really like using this alphabetical ordered database from the good folks at Fracturedaxel.co.uk http://fracturedaxel.co.uk/wiki9/tiki-index.php?page=Functional+Index -
Dear forum, I want to share with you a video I made, a project really. This project took me about six months, four locations, 2 continents, 3 kites, 1 Xiaomi Yi sport camera, one John Lenon, some improvisation, and a lot of patience. The idea was to make a video of stunt kite tricks from a completely new perspective. The innovation of filming from the kite's perspective has an added value, meaning the simple fact of seeing everything from the other side, watching the affect of the lines on the kite, having a closer look on the work of the bridle, etc. Also, I hope that the international locations would add even more color to the backdrop, as it were. I'm no master in kite tricking. On the contrary, I bow my head to the masters and veterans, from whom I still have a lot to learn. But I do want to contribute to this incredible sport and its amazing international community, which I have grown to love and appreciate over the last two years. I hope that in some small way, I'm doing my part in growing the sport, drawing more followers to it, and possibly shedding a new, although possibly pocket size, light on things. I had a lot of fun making it. I hope you enjoy watching it. http://youtu.be/89vmM2UUzag

Hi @DeafThunder I also use online shopping or email to contact shops, mostly because I'd hate to pay for an overseas call... I found that Phil from Fly Market supplies and Marianne from Kites and Fun Things are both very helpful over electronic communication. About Tedlar material, I really like using Tenacious tape https://www.mcnett.com/gearaid/tenacious-tape#10691 I've read that Prism now sells Tear Aid, which is also a brand. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Right.

Sure, be happy to. Open tapatalk, choose "following", choose "Kite Life", swipe to "unread" section. On any of the blue marked topics, there are three symbols: star, 🌟, check box [emoji819], and conversion bubble, [emoji187]. Hit the check box on one of these blue marked topics, and it should make it disappear, and not come back until a new comment is added to that topic. Now, either go back to "following" and in to "Kite Life" again, or instead swipe down to refresh the unread section, and you'll see the topic you already marked as "read" coming back to the unread section. Hope this helps.
-
@John Barresi another small glitch I guess, on Tapatalk you can mark a topic "read" with pressing the [emoji819] sign. Now after refresh, it brings the topic back as if unread.

Yup, tapatalk works. Only you get all these weird forum shortcuts or language. Check out your post I just quoted.

Here's the one I just finished making. Full size / half size kite bag with lines pocket. Made out of water-proof Cordura, it can hold up to 3 folded kites, and probably 5 fully open, and has a nice carrying strap.

Last chance folks, after next week the shipping price would be more expensive, as I'm only in the US for a week! Thank you kindly, Iftah.
-
Update : price is now 190 USD including shipping CONUS. Grab this baby before it gets away! Thank you kindly, Iftah.

Hi there! I think L'Atelier can help you out with that. You should reach out to them and see if they can send you one already pre measured. If not, where are you located? Maybe there's a kite supply shop close to you. Thank you kindly, Iftah. -
Some more pics and details on the ATM for sale, with a close-up on the Plasti-Dipped nose: https://picasaweb.google.com/112796337243873870164/ATMForSALE?authuser=0&authkey=Gv1sRgCNvxu_uW6s_bvQE&feat=directlink

Nice flying Rob, it's raining here all week long, so I've been playing with colorizers instead .... Thank you kindly, Iftah.
