Wayne Dowler Posted December 9, 2014 Report Posted December 9, 2014 Poetry? Really?? New highs (or lows) in imaginative ways to impress the RNG! The question still begs to be answered - Will it work?? 1 Quote
Reef Runner Posted December 9, 2014 Report Posted December 9, 2014 Nick hasn't been around in so long, that he doesn't even remember that this is a Kitelife drawing not a "KARMA" drawing!! Oh yes I have, and oh yes I do ! Just a bit of "trickery", on the behalf of my good buddy, the RNG.......... Don't forget, December is my lucky month (12-25-2012) ! Brucifer Posted December 11, 2014 Report Posted December 11, 2014 There won't be any hard feelings if a kitelife newbie turns out to be the lucky one I hope! 3 Quote
SHBKF Posted December 11, 2014 Report Posted December 11, 2014 There won't be any hard feelings if a kitelife newbie turns out to be the lucky one I hope! No hard feelings from here in the mountains of Virginia. I am rooting for you Brucifer. When I used to fish all the time I noticed that in general it seemed that the person who needed to the most caught the fish of the day. I would be there with all the latest gear, hottest lure, the current theories & fishing like mad. Then some young kid with a cane pole & an earthworm would haul in the lunker just a few feet away. After my thoughts matured I realized that just participating was enough, joy of others was of prime importance & life was good if you just let your heart open up to feel it. Best wishes to a new KiteLife subscriber. Recently I won and it was the kite I wanted the most of all that have been given. Not a coincidence in my experience it seems. Truly hoping, SHBKF 4 Quote

Wayne Dowler Posted December 11, 2014 Report Posted December 11, 2014 What's with all the "good luck" crap??!! No Banter? No "getting under the skin"? What is this, a new, kinder, gentler forum giveaway?? Keep this up and I'll,--- I'll,---- I'll die laughing!!! 1 Quote
SparkieRob Posted December 11, 2014 Report Posted December 11, 2014 If you die laughing Wayne, that will be one less disappointed subscriber when I win.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 3 Quote
bbailey49 Posted December 12, 2014 Report Posted December 12, 2014 It's almost drawing day, and I have decided that, if I win, this is going to be a great Christmas present for a very deserving young man in Florida. John Layton, I don't know if you ever check in one the drawing threads, but I'll be sending this one on to Shaye if the RNG chooses my numbers. 3 Quote
mystainedskin Posted December 13, 2014 Report Posted December 13, 2014 Awesome! I wish you all the luck! He is a great kid and well deserving pilot. Not many kids at his age can say they fly in line with the best around 2 Quote

GammoRay Posted December 14, 2014 Report Posted December 14, 2014 OK, tomorrow's my birthday! I'm expecting my birthday present to be waiting for me, so skip the drawing and go ahead and overnight this baby to me! You guys will just have to be satisfied with pics of me flying it! Quote
GammoRay Posted December 15, 2014 Report Posted December 15, 2014 Hey! It wasn't on my doorstep this morning! Will it come later in the day? Quote
GammoRay Posted December 15, 2014 Report Posted December 15, 2014 I've been up for hours! Where's my confirmation? Quote
GammoRay Posted December 15, 2014 Report Posted December 15, 2014 I'm waiting for my phone to say, "RNG! RNG!" Quote
Reef Runner Posted December 15, 2014 Report Posted December 15, 2014 John probably isn't up yet, but regardless, I think that mid-vent is headed east (as in the right coast) Quote
John Barresi Posted December 15, 2014 Author Report Posted December 15, 2014 Y'all still put a HUGE grin on my face and warmth in my heart, I love this place! Audit done - I got our new folks added, culled the latest expired numbers, read all the trash-talking, and laughed out loud several times... So, LET'S GET IT ON!!!!!! Insert imaginary drumroll here... * 1 Quote
John Barresi Posted December 15, 2014 Author Report Posted December 15, 2014 This brand new B-Series Rev is going to #987... Deepest congratulations to Charles Ashburn (aka chucka)! 1 Quote
John Barresi Posted December 15, 2014 Author Report Posted December 15, 2014 That's a very long drumroll! Ya, sorry about that... I generally do the actual draw after I say drumroll... Due to the way our master list is organized and how random.org's drawing system works, we have look up the drawn number in our master list, see if it's expired, make sure its really expired if so (via PayPal), then find an active number, look it up on the master list, make sure it's really active (via PayPal), all before pulling the trigger - a pain to be sure, but all in the interest of fairness. 1 Quote
