Level One kites are made in Germany, it's possible you'll find one for sale in Europe as well.

Well, it's $20 over your suggested price limit, but imho, you can't spend better money... Jump, by Level One http://www.thekiteshoppe.com/sport-kites/d...mp/prod_37.html In my experience, it's hands down the best kite under $130... A little smaller, but a beautiful balance between tricking, precision and durability. I've got dozens of dual line kites in the $300-$400 range, but I've got two of these and they actually get the most air time. Slightly smaller inputs, but... Yo yos (roll ups), jacobs ladder, you name it, this kite will do it, right out of the bag. Carves precision and tip stabs with the best of 'em, and has a WIDE wind range of 3-17 mph (approx). Most of the other kites in that price range are quite a bit heavier, and in my opinion, don't offer the same balance of characteristics. My 2 cents.

Uneven lines, that's a big one, often overlooked by newer fliers.

I brought more duals to Japan than quads this time. Of course, you simply don't need as many Revs to get the job done. Brought SUL/STD/VTD Shivas (precision- old school), two Jumps (fun, fast tricking) and a Mid-Vent Sea Devil (high end tricking).

I figured out my problem with this, was a whack URL in my bookmarks... No problems since I put the right one in. Troy, you still on WebTV?

It's cool, I love both dearly... It's about flying. I see "Great Lakes" in your signature, any chance you'll be at the Grand Haven MI event May 16-17? Great examples of all things kiting there, the fliers are friendly and accessible for tips and fun.

Oh, and just wait until you try Revolution kites too! <grin>
