  1. Day one of the competition in Berck sur Mer, France... Note, the list is A-Z... TBA denotes top five score in either ballet or precision. http://www.gombergkites.com/update/447.html Thanks David!
  2. The winner of this great prize is: Ron Cooper - Subscriber #441 Congratulations to you Ron! Our new prize(s) will be announced within 24 hours.
  3. Version 1

The basic Rev axel, performed with a Revolution 1.5 in 3-4 mph winds. In this case, the trick is demonstrated in a left to right inverted hover using the new Barresi Signature Series Rev, with a 3 wrap frame. NOTE: A reliable (and free) cross-platform video player is VLC, which should work with any file format including MKV.

  7. Thanks Rob. More specifically... http://www.skyburner.com/levelone/jump.html
  8. There's one in the subscriber section (promo vids), where I'm dogstaking it in Argentina. It's a small/midsize kite, very precise, great tricks, wind range is about 3pm up to about 20mph... I use 50# and 90# line on it. Sorry, not aware of any video elsewhere.
  9. I'm really fond of the Jump, by Level One... It's probably the best performing $100 kite I've ever flown and it's very durable as well.
  10. AWESOME, great to hear!
  11. Sorry, I don't have more info on the Uchinada event... Just the dates, May 3-4. I do know it's the JKA's big end of year event, like our AKA Nationals.
  12. Brad, Melanie, Steve and I were out between 3-5pm, blowing like hell... Off to dinner now, see you tonight or tomorrow!
  13. Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy... Almost time to fly.
  14. Everything is on track, we'll see you there!
  15. Thanks Mario, greatly appreciated... I sent a reply for discussion, including the iQuad members who were at the clinic.
  16. Unknown at this point... Kite Tales is AKA-owned, best I can tell. As an organization, I'm not sure that they'd ever approve of the archive being on a privately-owned web site. Never know though, I'd certainly like to see every publication of this caliber made available to the general public. If you wanted to "nudge" the process, consider sending a request to the AKA for something like this to be done.
  17. WOW, WOW, WOW... That has to be one of the most entertaining, educational and laid back events I've ever been a part of. Over 30 participants, everyone made incredible strides in their learning and abilities, and such cooperation between everyone!! Can't wait to hear more from other attendees.
  18. Nice. Direct link to Choccy's albums, for those new to the gallery... http://kitelife.com/forum/index.php?autoco...r&user=3134
  19. MUST try the Thai place... 1/2 mile or so North of Bolstad approach, in Long Beach. YUM YUM YUM YUM
  20. Clean, nice work Carl. I'm not a power kiter myself, but I dig anything wind-related.
  21. Awesome, I'm excited... This is gonna be a hoot. We'll have four of iQuad training on the beach Thursday, late morning onward... Last two arrive that eve, on hand for the next day. Friday's clinic officially starts at noon, but you know how these new kiters are, they just can't wait! <grin> Don't forget about the pizza gig Saturday night... We'll be drawing winners for a B-Series Vented package, a shirt or two, and a couple of Kitelife subscriptions. No need to be present at the dinner to win the B-Series, as long as your event registration is paid through the museum.
  22. Rock on Steve, see you there!
  23. Yes, sort of. Look it up on Randy Greenway's tutorials, I think it's in there.
  24. Correct, rolling cascade. Insane, switching directions L-R.
