  1. Great initial collection Obijuan.
  2. Wierd... I put up a login thing for another site, and it rolled over to the Kitelife home page. Got it removed for the moment, until I figure it out. Should be working a-ok now.
  3. A Wind of Change is 100% reputable... Kent Kingston is a good guy, and has been a supporter of Kitelife for almost 2 years now.
  4. Had to upgrade the forum software for security reasons, please be patient while we add modifications/graphics back in.
  5. We're pleased to yet again announce the next prize being given away to our most appreciated supporters, the Kitelife Subscribers... Let the drooling begin!

  8. Danka, gracias, arigato, merci, and all the rest...
  9. to me... to me... Still the baby!
  10. There are also links to several galleries, posted on GWTW. http://gwtw-kites.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=28666
  11. I love it when my lines sing... As long as they're not belting out ACDC or high acapella.
  12. Over 20mph, vented is ideal... With a 4 wrap LE, and maybe even a 3 wrap LE laid in next to it. You can still fly a full sail, but it's a lot of kite to handle.
  13. See if MonkeyBoy has similar issues, he runs a MAC sometimes.
  14. FYI - While a 4 wrap is good for general use, the SLE may be the order of the day for a Berkeley afternoon... Winds are often in the 20mph range.
  15. Hehehehe... I love pre-prize drawing swordplay.
  16. They're MPEG... And pretty darned big. Are you saving to your hard drive before viewing them? I generally use Windows Media Player, been working fine with these.
  17. Mike, it depends... What are the average wind conditions you get on your home field?
  18. Hi gang, We've just added high definition versions of the top five ballet routines from World Sport Kite Championships in Berck sur Mer France, this April... They're REAL big at about 260MB or so apiece, but the viewing quality is much better. http://www.kitelife.com/members (look near the bottom of the page) Remember, you need a Kitelife subscription to get in... If you're not a subscriber, you can sign up here: http://www.kitelife.com/subscribe Thanks to those of you who help us keep the site going, we plan on adding more high def videos for ya'll!
  19. Good, I'll have at least two to school.
  20. Agreed.
  21. A simple snap stall would start with the bottom hand going out, then the top one... It's a quick motion that way, then a slight reversal from there to compensate for the kite wanting to keeping spinning around. The motion itself should typically be small (not much movement/distance), but should be very fast as if you were cracking the tip of a whip... Handspeed is crucial, less so in lighter winds. Best I can explain it for the moment.
  22. My pleasure... That's what Kitelife is here for, to facilitate.
  23. I got an email from Corey himself. He and I have been friends for roughly 16 years. I would imagine the refund is for an extra item that was not available... Or, perhaps for the delay... I really don't know.
  24. Both spinning and fade ability usually improve, but roll ups are a BIG improvement with weights on the tail.
  25. You're in good hands Nicolas... It's in the mail now.
