  1. I should be seeing Doc tomorrow to pick up my cody.
  2. You guys are just plain mean.
  3. Tie, tie, tie! Big winner! If I had my pick between pink, and a cow... I'd have to say: MooooooOOOOOOOOOoooooooooo!
  4. Yeah, 80' is sufficient for general fun flying... Longer lines will come into play if you'd like more sky to "paint" on, like if I'm looking to fly large intricate shapes and maneuvers, as opposed to tricks and such.
  5. That's where I'll be all weekend... First outdoor comp of the year. Email access is a big maybe, so I might not be able to reply to anyone until Monday morning. See some of you there!
  6. I knew I forgot something... We put it up on the home page, but forgot to add this: http://kitelife.com/forum/index.php?act=ST&f=2&t=494
  7. We're pleased to yet again announce the next prize being given away to our most appreciated supporters, the Kitelife Subscribers... For roughly 10 cents per day they play a major role in keeping KL growing in every way. 3 Spikey Balls, thanks to Gomberg Kites! You can sign up here. Odds of winning for this prize is currently 1/137, and will be drawn on April 25th! http://www.kitelife.com/prizes/spikey41/index.htm Our thanks, and the very best to you!
  8. Right on, thanks for your support Ron.
  9. I'm not familiar with either of those models, but if you are looking for a very beginning sport/stunt kite, I recommend the Cherry Bomb by New Tech Kites. About $35 retail, it is very durable, flies in a wide wind range, and will still do some tricks once you get into that skill level.
  10. That has the right sound to it... As a sport kite competitor of 15 years, the only way I've been ab;e to continue enjoying it and growing was to keep my own priorities and intent clear in mind. If managed, the "arena" can what you make of it.
  11. Yep, we've come a long way. Any chance we'll be seeing some of your work at nationals in Ocean City this year?
  12. Jacksonville AKA, circa 1991... That was my first season in Experienced Class, and I qualified for ballet only to take 8th at the nationals. Fire ants, flying off the boat... Toxic sludge... Not the best location ever.
  13. Welcome back Spencer.
  14. No problem at all... Matter of fact, I just added that FAQ item after you brought it to my attention. I'm sure it may have been a question for others who didn't take the time to ask, thanks.
  15. You can actualy find the answer to this question here: http://www.kitelife.com/site_faq/index.php...d=31&artlang=en Let me know if you run into any problems!
  16. E2 went out in the mail yesterday, should have it sometime near the end of next week... Let us know when it arrives if you would.
  17. The space required for basketball (square footage) seems about right, so we accomodate 2-3 fliers or more at once... Ceiling minimum is about 25' (correct), but more is ALWAYS welcome.
  18. Drum roll please... The winner of this great prize is: Ron Hardie - Subscriber #63 Congratulations Ron!! Our new prize(s) will be announced by the end of the day.
  19. My honest recommendatiion... Give a call or email to a few shops, and see which one strikes you right! We have ongoing friendships with most of the stores advertised on our main pages, as well as professional respect. See which one is the easiest to deal with for you.
  20. My pleasure.
  21. Something like this? I just made an 8-frame image in Fireworks... Rotating the image a little in each one, and set to 1/2 second between animations. It's a little rough, but that's the idea.
  22. Oh, count on it... We'd LOVE to get footage of the Freestyle Cup for our video archives.
  23. No worries persh, the rest of us are most of us.
  24. That would be my recommendation as well... Also, when you registered to the forum it should have sent you a confirmation email, which includes a link for you to click and validate your email address. Take a look and see if you can find it, sent to the same email address you registered with... We use this process to cut down on "non-friendly" users. Let us know if the problem persists.
  25. I spoke with Lam via Skype (VOIP) yesterday morning, he's in Italy and doing well... The Cervia Cup starts this weekend (comps against the Europeans), and then he has 2-3 weeks before the Freestyle World Cup in France. No word on video, I have no contacts out there.
