I do know that John is shooting for a Rev clinic on July 23-24!! Haven't come up with any final figures on who can attend, but there's a thought !!!

RNG -random number generator!! It's what John uses to pick the winner of the give aways!! We're all trying different ways to "influence" the outcome!! Some are silent, some more vocal, but most of the time, we all want to win!!!

Just got back from the Lincoln City Festival!! Tried them in a bunch of different sails, this weekend!! I will post my review shortly, after I organize my thoughts!!!

Delta Park is a great place, especially if JB and some others are coming out to play!! Some of us have small local fields that only hold a few fliers, I'm still checking out any restrictions, but for a good sized group, Delta works fine!! We even celebrated New Year's Day there, with ice on the ground!!

And the RNG is still not listening to you all!!!!

The Back tracker was my first quad!! Only Rev 1 or 2s were on the market until the tracker!! Just a little rich for my pocket at that time, especially if I found out I didn't like it!! Store in Lincoln City had Back trackers on sale - figured the price was right and if I didn't get on with it, no big financial loss!! Flew it over a weekend, first day , UGH!!! Crash, untangle, crash some more!!! Second day much better, more flying than crashing!! That fall, the store changed ownership and they were clearing out the old stock to empty space for new!! Got a Rev 1 at a good price and I've still got that sail!! Been though more stuff than I can say, but it still flies great!!! Time is a little fuzzy after my stoke, but I'm guessing that it was around 1997 - 1998, that happened!! 7 panel Rev 1like the one pictured on the Rev forum header, just different colors!! My son traded the tracker for an older full vented SLE!!! My opinion - if you can fly a Backtracker, you can fly any other Rev, no problem!!!

Here, here ! I wondered what would be wrong with that. That's exactly how I change the LE, when I change frames, here in my shop (hobby/work shop). When I'm out in the field, I usually just hook up another kite, if conditions change drastically. Again, different strokes, for different folks. Oh, and whatever works for you !! I'll use this when the conditions aren't that radically different and I don't want to change sails or if I'm comparing frames or if I just want to play around with another setup!! (Review in mind on the "greenies") Not that much different from JB's way, just how I've done it over time!! I just like the positive feel when you can insert the new LE on the ferrule (FDD), for removal!!

I watched the frame change vid to see if there were things I might have missed!! Useful info about pulling the verts first!! I change LEs a little differently, I pull one end out first to leave a ferrule inside, then put my new LE end on the existing ferrule! Pushes out the same after that by adding pieces as needed! Pull off the old LE from the ferrule, cap, verts in, and go!! Same result, different process!!!

Now, now Baloo, I've flown Rev 2s before, so not that big a jump to a "B-2"!!! Besides, the venting should slow it down enough for my old eyes to keep up with it!! So, gimme a chance, RNG!!!!!

You cant get a much slower mind than mine, unless there is food invloved Should I throw a steak in the bear cave to keep you away from the "B-2" drawing??? The weather over here has been so lousy that indoor flying has really been an enjoyable outlet for my Rev fever!! Not that I don't want some outdoor flying, need my sun and beach fix on a regular basis, but indoor is FUN!!

Not to say I've got everything down from what we have so far, but are there any others in the works?? Just looking for more challenges!!! Plus, I'm impatient!!!

I'm sorry, but none of these sob acts are gonna work on the "ol' RNG"! Besides you'll have NO CHANCE of winning this!!
