  3. Have you tried a quad? You know, like the Revolution. It's not about the tricks, it's about the control. Brakes, reverse and speed control in any direction at any time. Completely different namimal. You're young, you should fly them all. BB Penny

  10. No, it's not scary. though I'm not sure if it is the crazy ladies or the rockettes. I'm not in the picture, and I'm uncertain if you are or not. But you could tell they were having fun. BB Penny
  11. Unless he's talking about walking the kite in the air? Walk across, up, down, reverse in all the same directions. Tip to tip. Example: Walk down. Facing 9:00 on tip. Release the top wing, so it turns down to 3:00 while you hold the lower wing on spot. Now your lower wing is the top. Release it while you hold hold the bottom on spot. Stop it, (pushing down with your thumb when it's facing 9:00 A reverse walk down, walk up and across are very easy for most. A reverse walk across is the most difficult of the walks. Walk and Roll! BB Penny
  12. I'm not doing this on the forum. lol Carl, we'll talk... probably on my work email. I've got my computer back, but not my outlook or documents. I've never been on the back of the web page. What size pixels ... where do you find a conversion table on pixels? ;P <900 x 900? kinda thing? ok, I"m out of here. BB Penny
  13. Oh, someone tell Lolly, we'd like an indoor kite bag that carries about 4 kites. About the size of the Superblast bag. Maybe she could talk to Santa about having some made for gifts. It's cold, wet, and dark outside this time of year. My indoor kite bag actually is my superblast bag. (Don't worry the Superblast is in a good, convenient spot. I've got a Rev. SLE w/2-3 wrap spars, Red/White/Blue Flag that Jerry Fincerh Painted. About 10 ft. line w/handles. I have a UFO..... ooooohhh ahhhhhhh! How much fun is this kite?! and that's just with one line. Best Christmas gift you can give anyone from 4 yr. -104 yrs. old. Thank you Lee Sedgwick for making something so fun and pennyproof! I love the 3D variety on this single line kite. An Indoor Revolutuion with one handed handles on about 12-14 ft. of line. Shawn Jone's Flighter, A single line kite to fly w/line or with a pole. Thos are what I have in my kite bag. (except the UFO isn't really in the bag... I carry it assembled into the gym. I was able to fly twice on Mon, Tue, no wed ;( Thur, twice Fri., Sat, and Sun. Now that's a good week!! I've packed my clothes into plastic bags ready for the whole week. That way I can just get up and run to the gym, fly, shower and get ready for work, and have another good week. oh, and Thanksgiving. So I'm using four kites for winter... cept we need to go buggying soon. Then I'd have to grab the Superblast and another kite bag and handles. Gortex... already have my music -and I'm ready! Happy Thanksgiving everybody. Happy fly time and family time, may the two combine. BB Penny
  14. I think it's goofy again.
  15. I believe you might find her on the cover of the WKA Newsletter, too. Along with a group of kite ladies. Pun fun day those crazy ladies of kiting had it together! Wasn't that fun!
  16. Cody, Cody, Cody, Cody. There, no one had said Cody for a while. Will there be a new cody up for auction? Cody guy, I couldn't find the Dragon/Cody picture, or I would have posted it here. So, how many Rev's do you see in the picture? It's my old AKA Trading Card. I was the wild card of the set. BB Penny
  17. I did get to go to the gym this morning. I could not get my stanced 360 but once! I want to stay feet planted and 360 low around me. I don't want to put one foot behind the other and pivot w/the kite. That's easy. Nor do I want it overhead. Now, I'm still no closer, but that's after getting it 4 or 5 times the first day I know it's doable. It will be so easy, once I learn how I'll forget it was ever difficult. It was a good day at the gym. I might have to go back tonight If not tomorrow for sure. I checked it for availability. Hey, Carl, if you read this, I'm ready to start working on my web page. I've never been in it. Is it dark and scary in there? BB Penny
  18. How precious! I miss my grandkids. BB Penny
  19. It's easy to put one foot behind the other and spin your body around on spot to fly the Rev. in a 360, but to keep your feet planted on spot and fly the kite in a low 360 is challenging. (I suppose the foot behind spin was challenging in the beginning) I have to pull on the top handle to keep it going, but I can't figure out what I'm doing with the bottom handle.. more importantly what I need to do to keep the kite on track. My car battery died 3 times this week, with no lights on, so I need a new battery (I hope) and don't get to go to the gym tomorrow am. What a bummer. I can't wait to get some video of what my hands are doing. Something else I was working on was laying the kite flat, and turning it flat, left, right, left, right. Great big arm movements huh! That's one place you guys with longer arms have an advantage. Well, I better go, I'm exhausted. whaa! I can't believe I don't get to go to the gym. mumble..mumble. BB Penny
  20. Nice explanantion! I've been told this is best done at shoulder height. What do you think?[ BB Penny
  21. How kewl! I love the light pole dog staking. Keep going! BB Penny
  22. Just thought I'd do a quick post in here. This is kinda like my indoor diary. I'm practicing a stanced Rev. 360 on tip. So Kite facing 3:00 near the ground, fly it around, keep it low and go. I can do it clockwise, but don't know how I'm doing it yet. I can't do it counter clockwise. Not sure what I'm doing different or wrong. So video is needed. Don't move your body! It's all about the stance while it 360's.. Low, not overhead. So you guys go practice that and give me some hand/arm directions. Wow, I can't believe how good it feels to get back in the gym. Now if only I could wake up with a smile at 5 AM. BB Penny
  23. I've got one of your CD's Heidi got the first one you gave me. Not bad at all. I do like the 2nd one better. Seems like your always dustying that old band off and playing somewhere. Maybe if you'd quit putting the other members away in the attic they won't get so dusty! BB Penny
  24. Ok, here is one for you. Has anyone creeated a stanced Rev. indoor 360? I thried it this morning and I could do it clockwise, but I couod not do it counterclockwise. I mean standing on spot starting the kite out (this time) faciing Right on tip, in front of me and keeping it low to the ground as I do the 360. I seem to be doing ok, but don't know what my hands are doing right yet in order to perform it to the left. Anyone have this move down pat? Want to give me some hand directions? I'll have to pull out the darn video camera/tripod and go capture what I'm doing on video, so I can see what I'm doing right and what I'm doing wrong. It will look awesome once I can do it on purpose everytime. For me that takes figuring out what my hands, and arms are going to be doing. hmmmmm.. I can't wait!!! BB Penny
  25. And there you have it. Does that mean we're done talking in here? BB Penny
