  1. There is a YouTube video of THE Joe H flying on the back of his brother (?) who was flying a paraglide the with no fan... Had no troubles below the horizontal. I'll see if I can find a link. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. You can still have a brake heavy tune for urban conditions. I use the same setting for flying at shopping centre car parks as I do on an open field. It's less about having drive tuned in and more about loading the sail. Flying round buildings gives very dirty wind but I find a "bit of down" helps to moderate the gusts and allow to compress the frame when it lulls. Keep it up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Everybody needs a dream!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Totally agree, gorgeous. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I love it. Still want one. Just been getting other kites. "King of the Hill". Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I've had my "1.3 Beach" at the limit of the wind range and the pull is nice but I really don't think it warrants any more than the factory supplied line. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Oh, most revs come with a DVD of instructions to get you flying. But stake with you're LE down. Don't worry, that will make sense soon enough. Get in YouTube and look up "Kitelife" and "John Barresi". Gold gold gold material and instruction. Subscribe here to get access to all the extras. Who knows, you may win a kite too. 8. If you can, meet up with someone and fly theirs. They will have a few different ones, it's a disease... If you can't meet someone, put the call out for a second hand one. You'll need lines and handles. A "standard (or full) sail" is usually the first one purchased. If you can't get a second hand one, get a nice and crisp new one! Get a RTF (ready to fly) package with lines and handles. Some packages have a second frame too. Most start on a full sail. That is a sail that has no venting material. Good for about 8km/h to about 25ish. If you have the means, get a B series as the package comes with a second frame. If your budget is a bit limited, the EXP package is still great. I still have my EXP! Compare dealers. Ask them questions. Get to know them. You will end up on a "first name basis"... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Good stuff. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. A suitably sized rubber end cap over the nock end should help with the tension loops. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. That's pretty cool. Let me know when they go online. I need a new t-shirt. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I think we've all seen the French (?) guys flying the chair... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Maybe the icons of "YouTube Twitter" and such below the site you want to direct them to. Whether the Kitelife or JohnBarresi sites. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. "Want to fly, ask me how" On the shirt. I'm sure anyone who wears one would instruct. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. "fly with intent" Make it bigger and put it at the very bottom just above the hem. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  19. I have red kites, it is only fair that I should have matching leaders....Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. 90 chops down to 50 and 30 REALLY easy.... 80ish is a great length by yourself if you got the room. I'm on 30's 90% of the time. You will accumulate different lengths as you go on. In #90 line sets I have: 10, 20, 30, 50, 80 and 120. The 10 and 20 are for my Indoor exclusively. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. And you can only fly one kite at a time. I've got stuff that I don't use yet but have future plans... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Putting these here to make the conversation make sense. Be careful with the burs on the handle ends. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. You need more than one kite...?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I finally did something very similar. I got a Golf Travel Cover with wheels. Inside is my Rev bag with the revs and a Prism bag with the duals and slk's. I throw my field bag in to firm it up. When I fly with it, I'll put clothes and stuff in there too. 1 checked and 1 for carry on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. If my number is drawn, draw again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
