There is rumor of a gathering and possible clinic around Ft Macon NC on Aug 9-10, but it gives us a whopping EIGHT DAYS to kill before then and only 1-1/2 states to cover... Anyone on the SC or NC coast keen to hook up, possibly have a guest bedroom for a couple of road weary kite nuts? Give a holler - hoping for a connection! 2 Quote

Macon during our vacation down in Emerald Isle, NC when we noticed a few Revs flying in formation over on the beach. Headed over to watch and talk to the folks flying and lo and behold, there's John Barresi! Chatted with him for a few minutes and some of the other guys and gal there. Super nice folks all around. John let me fly his vented Rev for a few minutes, it was my first time flying a vented....wow, SUPER smooth! I've got one of Eliot Shook's 100% mesh Revs waiting on me in Corolla, I'm hoping it's as smooth feeling as this one was. Going by to pick it up Tuesday or Wednesday. I'll be over on Jockey's Ridge hopefully Wednesday and/or Thursday, weather permitting. Got to go back to work starting Friday though. Enjoyed meeting you at Ft. Macon Saturday John, hope to see you again. Will you be back in the area for the AKA Nationals? Quote
