  1. It's a "speed foil", isn't it? If so, designed for speed more than power. Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
  2. This is the bag I travel with - takes all my kites, clothes and more, still checks as one normal item as long as you stay under 50lbs. https://www.amazon.com/Liquid-Force-Wheelie-Wakeboard-Bag/dp/B00FWX7CFG/ref=as_sl_pc_tf_til?tag=kitelifemagaz-20&linkCode=w00&linkId=U5THBVHGBD3UOXVV&creativeASIN=B00FWX7CFG Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
  3. I wish I could "like" my own posts, that's downright funny. Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
  4. If you're gonna get beaten, ask them to use the green trim Diamond rods - they'll surely break before it hurts. ROFL Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
  5. Seen it happen, honestly. :/
  6. This is another beast that I don't think they're making any more of once the current inventory is gone. Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
  7. He's usually pretty active on the forum, he must be engaged elsewhere... Maybe send him a PM if you're chomping at the bit. Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app

  9. The most popular SD flying location... http://www.kitemap.org/site-details?id=35&sname=Tecolote Shores Park Easy to search for more... http://www.kitemap.org/find-kite-flying-sites I just hope there's no "Rev loyalist" attitude amongst the SD fliers - kites and lines make my brothers and sisters, not what logo is on their kite.

  11. Inserting clarifications for posterity, but not interrupting the discussion... B-Series (factory model), production ends on Dec 31st 2016. B-Series PRO (Bazzer built) no longer made or available except as used / private sale. Carry on!
  12. Thanks Andy. We've already got a volunteer to restart the drawing (pending), let's just hope our last winner hasn't befallen something unpleasant that has taken him away from the drawing.
  13. That's really kind of you guys! It can be a bit parched out there without any cover, I'm sure folks would help out in order to partake of some nearby shade.
  14. There have been massive amounts of Rev (Quad)clinics and mega flies for the past 10 years, whereas dual line has been kind of stagnant with relatively little available on the "professional" or educational end of things... The apparent focus on Revs is a byproduct of that, and how darned easy quad is to learn. I love both dual and quad equally, but that's the lay of the land right now. 17. I actually picked Cardin up by his armpits for a second just to gauge what he's working with... lol Yeah, I couldn't leave him high and dry.
  18. Awesome video @P.V. Nguyen!
  19. Hi folks, this event has been canceled due to lack of registration and I'll be doing a private "squad clinic" instead (already booked up) - thanks for your patience!

  22. I think @Amexpmh has some, maybe he knows?
  23. Great shots PV, thanks!! Here's my one photo from the weekend...
  24. Some kites just jump from pancake to fade with little effort, some really have to be pulled through to lift and turn them over, others require a lot of articulation (lift/open, pop, release) and some just don't like to make the transition at all - very different behaviors / techniques depending on design.
  25. My pleasure, sorry again for the delay.
