  1. Looks great too, great job guys!
  2. I have no doubt. <grin>
  3. Yup, me thinks Brian might have had two events on the brain when he posted.
  4. Sorry, don't have info on that kind of bridle myself, but I wanted to say that I've seen it done on the Scorpion specifically. Brian Vanderslice was very involved with that kite in the early and mid-90s, and he was known for his quad/dogstake performances, as well as his regular ballets.
  5. Looks like at least four of iQuad will be at Summer Heat.
  6. Ha, I love that one... Funny as heck. Your right as an American to create and sell satire, on any topic!
  7. Variable 3-6mph, 35' of 90# line, Race frame. Thanks guys. FYI, seeing that you're both using the same forum account (per my question in the other thread), I've changed your account status to "subscriber". Enjoy the video downloads!
  8. On topic, and thanks for that. Bear in mind, regardless of my beliefs (which you're welcome to ask me about in private), I won't allow this thread to wander into discussion of Rational Thought in and of itself, or any of the opposing beliefs... Meat of the topic here is the kites and kite making, if you're amiable to the subject at hand. This policy stands for anything having to do with politics, religion, or anything that falls under the same extremity of opinion and is not related to kites. Such personal discussions should remain that, personal via email, PM, phone, etc... Or, in an appropriate forum. Nothing but love, for everyone.

Demonstration of B-Series mid vent Revolution, using Race frame and 35' of 90# line in a variable 3-6 mph. Filmed in Portland, OR at West Delta Park.
  10. Finally got some air time on a mid vent... http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-4549688913625085784
  11. Indeed, great video Spence, fine work... More, more, more! <grin>
  12. Was awesome... HOT, but awesome. Got some footage of the mid-vent in flight, will post it somewhere later tonight.
  13. Headed out to Delta Park now, will be there most of the day... Wind is N/NW, good as it gets.
  14. My guess is that tuning, and making sure you have the right frame for the right wind will do more than anything else. Any chance of some photos? I'd like to see the end of the leading edge spar and it's label, as well as the kite itself. You've got my curiosity up. Sounds like whoever said "Rhino" rod was spinning a yarn, would love to hear who it was, maybe via PM.
  15. Dean, much love to ya, but Rev doesn't make a 7 wrap. Stock 1995 Rev would have 4 wrap (marked "Revolution Equipped" - confirm?). There are a VERY FEW sets of 6 wrap running around, but mostly with big stacks (on the lead kite). But ya, a standard Rev I would be a bit over-matched in 20mph+. The vented with a 4 wrap frame, much better... A B-Series vented in 20+, even better than that.
  16. Ahem, nope, very rarely anyway.
  17. Great idea! I've created the category and a 1024x768 sub-category: http://kitelife.com/forum/index.php?autoco...q=sc&cat=19 But, I need to know... What are the other standard sizes used in wallpaper images?
  18. Feel free to post the link, those shirts are available for purchase from Angelo, out on the east coast.
  19. Hi folks, Just sharing a couple of handy links which almost always have active coupon codes for our CafePress shop! http://www.cafepress.com/couponcodes http://www.retailmenot.com/view/cafepress.com http://www.couponmountain.com/CafePress-coupons-deals.html Our shop - http://www.cafepress.com/kitelife These coupons don't effect our side of things, but can certainly save you a few bucks. Enjoy!
  20. Sorry to say, it does not appear that iQuad will be attending Westport... Summer Heat is up in the air as well. We've put in SO many hours (and expenses) thus far, it's tough to conscience those trips at the moment. Key is, we just got our DVDs in and have them for sale, but won't have enough sales opportunities before Westport to raise funds for travel to that event.
  21. Sorry mate, taking this weekend off. Undecided on Summer Heat, been a busy year... SO tired.

  24. A big disclaimer however, as a pilot moves their bridle up more and more, the control will usually degrade proportionately. Lift increases, but turns become less responsive, etc. Effect varies from kite to kite.
