Much smaller stack and kites but

With a stack this size, a few things become important. It doesn't like to hover. You kind of have to keep it going forward otherwise the stacks starts to waver a bit. You also have to plan ahead.. Try to turn too quickly and the length of the stack ripples down and you might just go tumbling. Like the childhood game of crack the whip. I love flying this stack as it was actually a childhood dream to fly a stack of kites. I've yet to remember to record it while Chris Shultz of HQ Kites is flying it. I always catch myself standing there in awe as he flies. . It truly comes alive in his hands. I've never seen his equal with a stack..

I really wanted to go but ended up doing other things that needed doing that day.. Let's just be an autonomous collective

There's actually a few of us in the area.. I have a few places I like to fly.. There's a few of us that powerkite and buggy on the beach in the off season which started YESTERDAY!!!

I had to convert 2 kites tonight. It had been a while since I did one.. I had to follow the intructions myself until I remembered the details.. Very glad you're enjoying the conversion..

I've dealt with Paul in person before. He's quite fair in his pricing AND his kites come with tweaks you can't find elsewhere all in one place.. My Bazzer Built, Old Glory SUL Masterpiece came from Paul. It had magic sticks, French bridles and his special personal tweaks. For sure, whatever you get from him HAS been an experiment in some way to accomplish whatever goal he had for that kite BUT, you can also bet that it has been optimized in a way that you don't see from the masses.. His kites also come with a story.. Guaranteed.

This just may be my favorite post so far since I joined.. I was enjoying my Diet Dr Pepper when reading it.. Hint and warning for others, personal experience, you shouldn't breathe soda under normal circumstances..

Kites Unlimited definitely took care of me on my recent order.. Two thumbs up!!!

Why on Earth would you need an excuse to buy kites?? You don't need an excuse.. You already have a reason!!!

So despite my intentions otherwise, I didn't fly today. I did however take the time to equalize my flying lines and made two new short sets. I now have a new set of 25 feet and 35 feet quad lines.

While there is some great info there, I personally feel the environment is more open and productive here.
