Hi Penny, Well...we did the Camas Indoor (just across the river from Portland) in November, and hope to do a repeat this year as well. As for the May 5th and 6th date....that's the outdoor comp weekend at Delta Park West. I'm working on availability for an indoor gym for Saturday evening May 5th. So far it's looking good! Lam and I have been volunteering at the WA. School for the Deaf, just across the street from The Shoppe, in exchange for indoor fly time. They are checking their calendar, to see if we can use the gym on Saturday from 6pm to 10pm. I'll post when I know for sure. T

Yes, Great news John! As you can all guess, we're all really excited about this! Thanks to Red Bull and the organizers for putting this together. The energy level is so high here today! I'll be on your door step at 4:55am tomorrow! (where's the sleepy eyed emoticon?) Lam's re-organizing and filling his kite bag right now, a new Prism rollup from Mark for the trip. You guys are going to have a blast! I definitely have San Diego on my list T

Hi Penny! I talked to Barton today.....things are really coming together! I'm afraid I do NOT possess any bell bottoms. As for Morro Bay....I checked the calendar....mousie has an event in the works for that same weekend..... so looks like we will be in Bend. Lam says he has Brian's phone number....he'll give him a call Lam just played his Beattle tune for me.... Can't wait!!! T

I just talked to Ben. He said he had a great Birthday! He is at Kite Party right now....may not have access to a computer? Patience Chris....... OT...I saw the iQuad team flying on the Huntington Beach web cam today! Ben had an Octupus up. Sounds like they had a great day!

Sometimes I log out and then log back in, loosing my 'new posts' icons, so I scroll through the dates on the right, to read the most current. Don't want to miss anything! Well, this post of Feb 18th caught my eye, thinking it was 'this' Feb 18th! Wow...nope...it's from 2005! But....a worthy resurrection/bump here. Although some of the Kitelife 'equipment' has been generously updated, making the process go smoother......it is still a worthy ongoing project to remember to support! Hello Glenn, Welcome to the forum! All you need are the 2 wrap 1/4" diameter rods. They will interchange perfectly with your existing end caps. Hope that helps! Theresa

It looks so easy, in fact, he tied the loops while we were sitting in the restaurant waiting for our dinner to arrive 2/3 the length of the LE? Right? Times 6 attachment points..... (7 if you choose to add one the middle of the LE)

Hi Jay!! Yep, just back from the Windless Indoor event in Long Beach! It was great....just wish you could have gone with us this time. We all had such a great time, even with the snow and ice and cold. It's NOT supposed to snow at the beach! LOL! I'm back now, but the snow and the road conditions kept me homebound today. Fire in the fireplace all day was nice and warm vs cold and snowy outside. Even though schools will be closed here again tomorrow, Lam and I should be back in the shoppe tomorrow. Are you back to regular schedule yet? See ya! T

Penny, I'm sending a new indoor flyer your way They just got a Wren, and want to play! I believe they live very close to you and have access to a school gym too. I met them at WSIKF last August John F introduced me to them Hope they can reach you! Happy New and have fun!!! Can't wait for March to hurry up and get here! T
