  12. Hi Warren, Main thing, take yor time, have patience, and most of all, have fun! Both videos are excellent. Also, have you just tried practicing the compulsories? The basics of control, prior to trying to learn tricks? Roy Reed has animated the moves here: http://www.reeddesign.co.uk/iskcb/index.html Also, Randy Greenway has tutorials online that are excellent! http://sportkiteflyer.spaces.live.com/ And....what kite are you flying???? Have fun! Theresa

  18. Hey John....Darn nice web site there! Yep, when you're ready, just call The Kite Shoppe and talk to Lam. He will fix you right up. A flyer came in on Monday....picked out his colors and model (SD Light).....came back on Tuesday and Lam had the kite all ready to go The next day, we all spent the day watching videos with play by play from Lam Lots of fun! Theresa
  19. In Tristan's indoor videos, he is flying a VIP by Lam Hoac. There was some video shot at the Camas indoor. I'm not sure if John has had a chance to get a hold of it and get it online as yet. If it becomes available, look for Jerry Cannon's preformance. He is flying a wren. Also, Jen's routine is with a wren. And I believe Scottie Davis's Mirecat kite is a wren....... John, are you able to get the vid from Mike? T
  20. Thanks for the 'plug' Cara Now that the rain has let up a bit, I'm back to make making more sets As for endurance and fly time on my sets, John has probably more time than I could ever guess. And still going strong! Wish we'd seen you for breakfast Sunday! Maybe next time! Lam will be bringing the JJF with him Friday.....I did a switcheroooooo for you.....I think you'll be happy with it! Brian, call me when you're ready! Theresa
