Hi Leigh, In reference to rc dude's Rev I vented pictures, if a Cool vented was requested to match his standard.....I do not believe that would be a problem for REV to make. By the way, I believe the Cool Rev I pictured is a Sedgwick series. They have no Mylar. As to varying color combinations in the varying models......I aways ask and see what is possible! Very nice pictures! Thanks for sharing Penny's right, sometimes it's hard for shops to get just one...especially something custom. I hope I wasn't one of the ones who didn't respond to an e-mail from you? My computer doesn't like me some days....and I'm afraid I've missed some. If it was me, I apologize! As to custom kites from Rev.....most anything (within reason ) is doable from them! They are great at doing the best job they can to get me what I need for my happy flyers Have fun flying!! Theresa

Kingman, Arizona I found a PyroXS/Techno video on Dodd's site, they both look like good kites as well. The Pyro looks really responsive. While I still like the Nighthawk, I do have to admit while watching a video of it, it does look real "feathery" and I can see just from that how people say it can oversteer easily. Im sure I might have problems with inputs on that kite. Its just such a nice looking kite! So it looks like the list has narrowed to 3 kites now 1. Pyro XS - Looks nice on video and ive heard one person say it handles really nice and it would probably be my best choice 2. Techno - Another nice looking kite. It looks like it flys nice as well, though ive yet to hear personal reviews on it. Though I doubt ill hear anything bad on it 3. Quantum - Im still unsure about this one. Havent really heard anything much about it. The way I see it - If I hear good things about the Techno, Ill get that one.. right now my choice on it is 50/50. The Quantum - It doesnt look like I'll lose on that one if the Techno doesnt doesnt make my first choice. And the Quantum - Not much to say about that one. Its just on the list so far, nothing more. I believe I may have one of Dodd's Techno's in the used Demo bag. If it's in good shape, I'll let it go cheap. Drop me a note if you what me to look for it. Theresa

Definitely the Nighthawk. I have had many repair issues and product failure with the Acrobatx. Theresa

Hi Bram, no not me...but I have seen others fly the CDC 1.8 indoors. As for heavy....when we were at AKA Nationals, Wayne Fu got his QP SUL out and flew it indoors! I think somebody actually got it on video! Next weekend we will have 2 and a half days in the gym Theresa

I've talked to Tony in the past. Why would he say he shipped, but then say he didn't? He doesn't always have the stuff in stock, and sometimes has had to ask manufacturers to 'drop ship' for him. Most manufacturers will NOT do this. He has even asked me to sell stuff to him when manufacturers have told me they refuse to sell to him. I do not believe he has an actual shop. Dennis, does he? ant man, I'm in Jersey City. About 10 minutes away from Liberty State Park, where the NJSKC was held this year. Too bad I only started flying in August (while on vacation in Ocean City, MD), otherwise I would have been a very happy spectator at that event. No kiting events in Ocean City either, while I was there. Unfortunately, its about a 150 mile drive to Wildwood. If it were only up to me, I'd be driving down there every weekend, just to fly and meet other kiters, but family duties come first. That's why when I do get some free time, I just drive over to Liberty State Park with my two kites, but I haven't had any luck meeting other flyers. Hey, rc dude.....have you tried to get in touch with any of the NJ Club flyers?
