  4. Very good question John! No.... The 25% off, takes the place of our standard AKA 10% discount, for our Winter Sale. so...that would be 25% off all items in stock, then take 15% off for new November subscribers to Kitelife. Theresa

  18. That would be great! Or.....sometimes we fly at Delta park too....on the west side of I-5..... Maybe we will see you there sometime, and get to take a look at it. Does it have any tags on it, or manufacturer label? Theresa
  19. Aiyana, If you decided to get the tool that you linked above, from Kathy, she also has the leading edge dacron avaiable. Just ask her what she's got. She usually has a variety of colors, widths, and with or without the fold. I have some in stock too....but Kathy has the best selection! Theresa
  20. Absolutely tricks more than the Oz! It flies a lot different than the Oz in the fact that you have to coax the Oz into a trick and the 1.8 begs you to be aggressive. I had a hard time in the beginning, in that "light wind mindset", but once I figured out that it just needs to be tossed into whatever you want it to do there was no looking back. I fly the 1.8 just like I fly my 1.9 or my JTM and get the same results in very little, if any wind. On the durability issue, I have crashed it hard countless times and it's no worse for the wear, have broken nothing! And if I did, parts are readily available, common rods. Scott
  21. Theresa has failed to mention the best option... the other zero wind kite in our bag... although it will exceed the $200 limit by $20, your 10% AKA discount will cover it. The STX 1.8! It will do everything that you asked for and has eclipsed the JIB Light as my favorite light wind kite. The 1.8 loves to be tossed around and will backspin in NO WIND! With just a puff of wind it will do ALL the hot tricks... Check it out, there is a short video on our web site by Felix Tric... Wind Range is Zero to Twelve. Scott
  22. I go for the cheapest and easiest....don't care for a lot of attachments, instructions or complicated gadgets... I got a simple wood burning tool at the hardware store. I think it was Home Depot. I took a picture, last night at the Shoppe, now will see if I can add it here. I generally use the one tip only, and don't bother switching to any of the others it came with. I cut on glass (the glass doesn't show in the picture, but it's under the ruler and the fabric) I use an aluminum ruler to 'burn' against. Just practice...and you'll get the feel of how fast or slow you need to 'cut'. Good luck! And have fun! What are you going to make? Theresa
