I'm in agreement with keeping "chat"! You get a better interaction with fellow fliers during "live" time!! PM still has it's place, but "chat" is convenient to use!

Buy one in another configuration, ie, this one is a mid, get a standard, or full vent! Then you'll have two and on your way to a set!! -

The red circle shows when you highlight the "chat" under "More" in the header, only if someone is there! If no one is on - no red circle!! The sounds come if you open another window for the "chat" to be in, while you are still browsing through the forum! It does seem like the sounds are random still, not always working all the time! No explanation, just the way it is!!

My son's old Rev 2 was tame on long lines, compared to lighter, shorter lines! The reason for 120's is to open up the wind window for teams or people that demo! Gives you so much more room to work!! Shorties are opposite, makes the kite quicker across the window, speeds up your reaction time!! Also good for 3-D flying or light, changeable winds!!

Don't need credentials to demo, just ask to be put on the demo list! If you have music to fly to, give it to the DJ! Then just have fun!!! Solo, I like to fly a mystery ballet, I let them pick out a song and get in the rhythm to it! Megafly - invited? It's usually announced or us Rev fliers organize it! Just join in!! Crash the party!! Rub elbows with some of us, we don't bite - hard!! During the weekend, join in on some smaller groups to get a feel for it, then you'll be ready for the megafly!!

I'm with you tkrinor- I can go up alright, down is a sometimes thing! But it's all just flying as much as you can and working on it some, every time out!! Keep at it!!!! -

Thought I post it here too - the link on the first page is taking me to a Shoutbox topic from 2009!! Isn't taking me to the chat room John and I were testing last night! Just found chat under the more section in header, we'll see if that works!! OK, that gets you there ! Whew!! John - I'm hearing some of the audio feature on the room, such as the doorbell!!

I'm usually on in the am (PST) til about noon! Wife has the 'puter most times after her work, then I'm on again @10pm (PST)! If I miss any good ideas being discussed, someone drop a PM to me on the subject!!

Crystal Kites were sold in Lincoln City through the shop - "Flying Things", across the street from the "D" river turnaround! I had several of them myself, including the "Centurion"! Mine was a light grey with two graphics crossing the center! Moved all of them when I went to mostly Revs!! I remember them as being good fliers, capable of all the "then current" tricks, and affordable, compared to some kites offered at the time!!
