B2 full sail, 2 wrap frame all round, Magic Sticks, 50 foot 90 pound lines, 11 inch handles. Didn't even have to think about it, [emoji12]. Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
Stop you! Why would we do that?! Those kites are from Kevin S? He's a great bloke. Makes some pretty cool kites of his own. Del, I'll try to meet up again before you get your kites. Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
You did much better than you give yourself credit for. Relaunching the kite. Crash minimising. Solid control. A few wobbles but it's your first flight. On 30 foot lines in very variable conditions. See, the crashes aren't nearly as bad as they seem. Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
Put a Diamond frame into a B Std sail and you can comfortably fly in ZERO wind on 30 feet. I've never been game enough to try them in a Mid or VTD sail. Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
The "Fulcrum". Developed by Carl Robertshaw. He also designed the all conquering "Fury" that dominated 2 line sport kite competitions. Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
If a frame makes you feel more confident to try things; lighter wind, then go for it. It may unlock keys for you. Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
I have a set of Diamonds and love but hear good stuff about the Skyshark frames. Even Bazzer is putting them in his Pheonixs! Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
Always good to have a flight buddy. Any time. Not sure if anyone has warned you but one turns into many rather quickly. Big friendly bunch of enablers here... Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
I would've thought that drag via a tube tail on the back of the kite is effectively the same as a tail weight. Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
My 3 meter delta. It has a fixed tow point so AOA can't be changed. It flies incredibly verticle and have been playing around with different load points. Even with a 15 meter tube tail it flies at a very high angle. When I load the line in the first 10-15 meters from the kite it drops it back a bit. Just wanting to see what's what. One of the good things of flying high is it tends to fly in very slight breezes. Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
To correct an over flying SLK is it better to:
A) Load the kite with drag such as fuzzy tails or tubes, or
Put on some laundry on the line to pull it back?
Thanks.

I have been experimenting with line laundry to "pull" the kite back in the higher winds and it has been working. Need some more and other types of laundry to test. I know the kite can handle it now though. Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
I found that when I fly my Vented Seven with the brakes fitted, slides are much easier. Have yet to try them on a Standard sail though. Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
...and down the rabbit hole she went. You'll have a bit of info overload for a while as at each new kite you see will lead you to another. It's ALL good so don't worry. Set you budget and give yourself maybe 10% wiggle room... Hoping to arrange a "meet and greet" soon. Nothing beats holding a set of straps/handles/winder in your and hearing the gentle rustle of ripstop. Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app

Easiest way is to go to a kite shop webpage, The Kite Shoppe is a forum sponsor too, and see how much a comparable kite is going for. If you are including lines and stuff add that. Include if you are pricing shipping in the cost or not.
There is a For Sale section for selling kites.
And post a pic 😜
