  1. Everything is there at http://www.revkites.net/forum at this point.
  2. Hi, Exult -- welcome to the forum and back to kiting. I look forward to flying with you someday.
  3. Sorry, you got that all wrong. It should read: Lawyers!#@!%#&^%(_*(^*&%$@!#$%%$^^%$^%$$&^%$*&^&%$#^@$%%&(_+*(*^%$#%^^&$%&*%&&*%&(&*(^*(*^(***************!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. Song of the Swamp for those light wind days?
  5. The 19th would do the trick and space all three nine days apart.
  6. Shouldn't we be doing a delivery date pool? First prize = B-Pro, full set including Zen?
  7. Looks good on ya! Wear it well and spank it often.
  8. Yes, all you have to do is pay it forward. Must be something kite-related. If you win you will need to post an item fairly quickly, so have something in mind beforehand. All you need to do to play is say " I'm in ".
  9. Quality wind does make a difference. When an inland flyer gets to the coast, it's sweetness. When a coastal flyer comes inland, it drives him nuts. I'm lovin' it. You can fly sitting down. Actually is one way to train. When you can't move you will learn to use wind more efficiently. Glad to hear you had a couple good ones.
  10. Tick, tick, tick, tick . . . . .Happy Birthday, John. Many more.
  11. I will call you. My phone number is 224.227.0638, but will not be in service for a few days. I will call when the storms pass.
  12. Schaumburg. NW suburb of Chicago. About an hour from here to the border.
  13. Call Flying Smiles and ask. They don't bite.
  14. Hi, Bipsron, and welcome to the forum. Any questions you have will be answered here. Good to have you with us.
  15. Hi, Mikelp3586, and welcome to the forum. I'm right next door in Illinois. Hope to fly with you soon.
  16. I've gotten triangular boxes that looked like that too. The sail won't get hurt when that happens, obviously, but the number of frame pieces can increase substantially. Using a PVC tube inside the box to slip either the entire kite, or just the frame into will make it bulletproof, but adds quite a bit of weight which increases the shipping cost. Other option is to include a stick or dowel that's relatively strong to the shipment.
  17. Nuts. I was hoping for a miracle cure.
  18. Pain-free? Enquiring minds want to know.
  19. Hi, Edmond. Welcome to the KiteLife forum. When it arrives, give me a call and I'll help you with set-up and learning. It is not as easy as it looks.
  20. Sluggish, typical for quad foils. Had a tendency to deflate when reversed too quickly. The nose tended to roll over forward until I put a flexible 3/32" fiberglass spar in that ran the full length of the intakes.
  21. And if you fly it all day the way you parked and launched it, then you are the "reverse flight" guru of all time. A few times a year I like to do a backwards day. Forward flight is not allowed for at least an hour. I usually never make it past the 20-minute mark, but I try. Up, down, sideways, forward, reverse -- I don't look at them as directions; merely references that determine which way I went.
  22. Here's a quad-line delta parafoil I designed and built in 2009. Sorry about the picture quality.
  23. A lot of Single Line Kites can be converted to quad-line; they just don't fly very well.
