  1. Congratulations on a great event in Bogotá! I spoke with both Scott Weider and Rod Thrall (guests from the USA), and they said it was an amazing festival... I hope to make it next year!
  2. Ah, found it on the Rev forum... http://www.revkites.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=16 However, it should be noted that most of the iQuad team is using mylar in their kites.
  3. On the various teams I've flown on, we've used: Stinger 1000 (no longer made) Allegro (no longer made) AirFX (no longer made) Shiva by CDC (still in production) For pairs flying, I've used Shivas and Sea Devils. For our quad line team, as JD said, we use Rev 1.5's.
  4. Newbies are heartily encouraged! We will be covering everything from the very basics on up through advanced tricks and techniques. All comers are welcome.
  5. Great to hear you are still flying Hector, we'll try to be at Kite Party next year!
  6. iQuad ( http://www.iquad.us / http://www.iquad.ca ) will be there as well, at least six, maybe seven of us... There is a car show that weekend, and our plan is to pull in as many spectators as possible by flying right in front of the promenade.
  7. I always do black = bottom... Using "B" as the common item, Black/Bottom... You could use the white dots as your right side indicator. Ah, re-reading your post... This is exactly what you did, spot on. The red lines might be longer, if they were used as the top at any point, because of stretch... There is more pull on the top lines.
  8. Yeah, but did you get the stuff??
  9. Here is the thread Paul is referring to: http://kitelife.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=637
  10. Please note, we've made a mistake in not securing prior permission to distribute Randy Greenway's tutorials in DVD/CD form at our upcoming workshop and he has asked that I refrain from doing so. Thus, we have removed said material from our promotional materials. However, we will be providing the URL (link) where participants can download the tutorials directly from Randy's site... His tutorials are top notch, and have been invaluable to fliers all over the country. Thanks for your understanding.
  11. The iQuad team used these with great success during the fireworks show at WSIKF this year... One on each wingtip, pointing across the face of our Revs. We'll be buying more... A lot more.
  12. Nice work Roy.
