No longer tentative, I’m super excited to announce that we officially have a green light from the event organizers for a large dedicated quad field that I’ll be coordinating (with help) for the whole week — watch this event page for more information and daily festival schedule over the many months ahead before WSIKF in 2019, again that’s TWENTY-NINETEEN (next year) but plan early because lodging in town often fills up a full year in advance. 🤙🤙

Hi all, This karma drawing is for a Premier Widow NG in excellent overall condition with the exception of a broken bridle (left side only - right is still intact for copying) and a very small hole in the leading edge material (no danger of expanding). Normally sold for about $200, this was one of the kites I used while training my teammates on Team KiteLife, a quick bridle replacement / repair (like $1-$2 worth of bridle line) and you’ve got yourself a champ! Remember, the winner pays it forward with something from their own bag or shopping list (take a look at our past drawings for examples) - reply here with “I’m in” to enter! Don’t get me wrong, I might fly the Djinn if I have them by then but folks will see the learn to fly field and figure those are the kites - anyone not in the know should probably get something else first anyway. 🙏🏻

I won’t be bringing Djinn for sale on the Berkeley field (if I have them by then) out of respect to Highline Kites (no Djinn resale yet) and to Revolution Kites who pays for a learn to fly field and supports the festival as a sponsor, though it might possible to meet somewhere offsite... IF they’re ready by then.
