👍🏻👍🏻 You already know about pigtails / leaders for your handles?
-
It’s fun to play with it all, but I usually just change the tail weight - a lot also dependable on skill and style, two pilots may not get the same results.
-
While all of that is possible and no crime to experiment with, the spine weights are not intended to move on the Kymera but variety and experience is the spice kiting - give it a shot if you want, it will change characteristics. In the sleeve, there should have been an additional weight which is attached by undoing the spine Velcro, removing the metal piece from the end of the spine, slide the new weight on and party under the Velcro, then reinstall the metal end piece and secure the Velcro again - think of sand bags in the trunk, it’s something to throw around, changes the ride and pitch of the kite quite a bit. As mentioned earlier, I’m home but still working off my jet lag and in the midst of a quad clinic this weekend as well - I’m following this thread with interest though, lots of good convo so far, I’d say the topic(s) are being explored and answered effectively. With a dual line, you can also use adjustable attachments to your handles or straps about 4”-5” long with a knot every 1” to which you attach your lines, moving to a new knot on either line to equalize “on the fly”... If the offset is over 4”-5”, you might as well equalize for real. Imho. [emoji56]

Welcome back brother Sven, I hope to see you again in September.
-
I meant to look at your setup on the beach today Carl but forgot, maybe tomorrow.
-
Not bad on that quad. 👍🏻 How many flight hours total now on your EXP?
-
Had an awesome two days of finishing touches to the bridle on the Djinn and I do believe it’s done! Had the opportunity to put it in the hands of over half a dozen novice and experienced pilots at the clinic this weekend, great reviews - next step is factory samples. 🤘

Lots of fliers underestimate fundamental control as mere “precision” when it’s the very thing that allows you to set up your tricks reliably, consistently, in the right places in the wind window and with the right sail pressure. 🙏🏻

It comes, do the homework, don’t bypass the fundamentals (ground pass, circles, squares, shapes, landings) and enjoy the process. 🙏🏻

Very peculiar, first I’ve heard of any such issue - with no screen shot (sent to me privately) or way to replicate the issue, there’s no way for me to diagnose it. Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
