Glad to hear things went well in California. We missed you here in Bend however, I think you are correct in the fact there are so many venues these days. We had a great time here as well, maybe we can coordinate the fest dates and have circuit... .lol ok so I am dreaming now. hugssssssssssss

A very big THANK YOU to all the fliers that came to the Bend Kite Festival. YOU ROCKED! The city of Bend has been enlightened and delighted as well as educated. Not to mention it was just wonderful to have you all here. Fun videos to come as iQuad visited the Octopus's Garden , a special ty to Phil and Barbara Burks for bringing their one of a kind Octopus to visit ! Mirium Shafler and Dave Shattuck also graced the field with their beautiful single liners as well. Lam Hoac brought alot of cheers from adults and kids alike who are now saying things like. **I want to be like Lam**. lol. Theresa from The Kite Shoppe was busy all day educating and providing excellent kites to our new found kiters, while Bob Wendt kept the show rolling all day long. Despite a slow start with winds, the day soon found plenty of kites in the sky and many delighted faces in the crowd. Also, a big hug and ty to Shannon , Ula , Hiedi and her two assistants for help in the kid's kite making tent. I believe the estimate stands at 250 children making kites and then flying them in a special children's fly. I have to say, when all those kids hit the field, I had goosebumps and tears in my eyes. They would not have been able to do that without you. sincerely, Amy * mousie*

I want to extend a huge thank you to Glenn and Racheal and family. I just received a video from them of two of my demos, plus some great still shots. I know there was a lot of work put into this. Thanks so much for taking the time to do this . It meant alot to see the demo that I dedicated to my Dad, and also to be able to see how I can improve. Big hugs to all of you. Sincerely, Mousie oh.. and I have decided to grow my hair longer.. as I can now see the advantages of having more cover lol hahha omg sorry couldnt resist. Funny what you notice when you see yourself on video ....

BEND KITE FESTIVAL IS GROWING FAST! I have heard from many that are interested in joining us here in Bend for the Cascade of Color Bend Kite Festival. Ty.. its alot of fun.. (and frustration at times lol). But I am truly enjoying it. I am heading to the OKR (Oregon Kitemakers Retreat) this next weekend thanks to the Pa Burley Scholarship. I have a lot to learn and I am sure I will. Just hope my eyes hold out. I went and got glasses this past week so I am hoping I will be used to them by then.
