Someone frm Morro Bay, CA contacted me to inform me that I was on the front page. I called the reporter and he's going to send me a pic. I just wanted to let you know what a small world it is. The reporter, Neil, use to work for a Kite shop. He wants to learn to fly Rev's. That's my kind of guy! I invited him to take a lesson next year, but it's to bad he has to wait till next year. If there are any Rev fliers in the Morro Bay -Pismo Beach area, I'd be happy to share his information with you. None of the parade pictures made it in except my pic. To bad.. Absolutely. I'm actually on my second one in close to 17 years. When Rev. gave me a new one I gave the old one to a flying companion who worked with me giving lessons. The wind range is great, the lack of pull even better. I don't want to be tired or sore after flying till dark. It's beautiufl withh tails too. You come try my kite.. I don't think you'll need to bring wind.. I think it's out there.. oh, and like the cutting edge bumper sticker says.. The wind is out there... just don't pee into it. lol Sorry, I've got the bumper sticker (not on the car) and never shared that one. hehehe BB Penny

hahaha yes, the rev II's will take a beating. I have a vented Rev II that is easier yet. I"ve always preferred it to the reg. Rev. II. I'm pretty sure that Rev. I's had 4 wraps. BB Penny

I agree. I've seen 4 wraps brake in 25 mph on a Rev. 1. Hey, don't forget Rev II's. You guys will have your vented Rev. 1.5's down on the ground long before my vented 2 comes down. BB Penny~

For those of you who are getting your Indoor Rev's don't hesitate to contact us, and do fly them outside in 1-2 mph. It is certainly not the same as NO wind, but will still make a better flyer out of you. Congratulations Mario! Enjoy that kite.. ahhh... now you made me want to fly inside. Nope.. have to concentrate on San Ramon's Art and Wind Festival. BB Penny ~

I'm sorry, I wont' be able to answer most of your questions. Accomodations? They may have a hotel that sponsors the flyers for less. If not call the chamber and ask for a list of hotels and call around. There is plenty of camping. That's an inexpensive way to make it to all of the festivals. You will meet some flyers, see some comps and get lots of fly time in. I'd recommend going. It is my husband's B-day that weekend, so I'm not sure if I'll get to go. I'm working on mastering my passions.. lol Thank God my husband understands. BB Penny

Amy, that black and pink is stand out and grab you gorgous. I've got a white 1.5 rev coming this way and plans to paint it with a red spiral like my cat indoor kite, but adding something to the other side. I can use it for about 4 routines and the graphics look awesome for team kite.. It draws pictures with two kites in all sorts of ways. What music do the sisters like to fly to? I see a chorus of "Summer time" and the living is easy written all over them. BB Penny

Nope, not really. When they first made the rev II people thought it was a beginner kite, instead of the quick highwind kite that it is. If she is 5, she can start flying a rev. in just enough wind. When you ask my grandaughter what her name is she says, "Princess" but she carries a stuff pig around so she's got some of grammy Penny in her too. Your princess would love to fly the butterfly off of a stick. Great indoors and out for $20 and I provide kites and costumes. What a deal! BB Penny

Here is a picture of the Moro Bay Cat cast. They did excellent! Sam I am mouthed words the announcer said without really knowing what he would say. They were great sports.
