Don't forget to always have a stake with you. Stake the kite down for any repairs and even to get on/off the buggy to prevent accidents. You'll do fine. Be safe! BB Penny

Yeah, but their not as Bezerkly as I remember Berkley being. Hey, I'm thinking that Tsunami had to displace a lot of air. We will be seeing more wind from it eventually. I always think of the world as a terreriam (sp) and each action creates a reaction. Steve is coming down this year and we'll have a day of sight seeing. Good Morning Theresa.. Just got back from Ocean Shores. But I belive that was the June weekend Monica from Cutting Edge asked me to come and do demo's. I don't go to many competitions, they dont' have time for demos. Busy working bess. Been there, done that. But if I can fly... I'll try and make it. Outdoors I thiink was 20-30 mph this weekend.. Wow, I sat for 5 hours and flew. So different then indoors! heheh Yes, Lincoln City was fantastic. San Ramon outside this weekend! Woo hoo, wind and Sun! What a concept. lol Have a great week. Be aware, kite jumping on land is considered extremely dangerous. That unprictable wind can take you up and then deposit you. Now kite buggying~~ fun fun fun.. oh.. and still a little dangerous. But kitesurfing~extreme fun still a littte dangerous. Sorry I can't answer your question. Just thought I'd say hi till some of these power kiters get here. I'm just a powder puffer... That sounds about right. Those larks heads will do the job. Another jump master. I've a friend that's at about 491 looking for the last 9 to get 500. They are planning on getting a few jumps in on Sat. before they head towards the beach. Enjoy! BB Penny

She and Lee have always been an inspiration to us on the west coast, too. I remember a young Sue Taft in 1991. It's tragic that family, friends and the AKA have lost such an Angel. Our prayers go out to Lee and her family. Sincerely, Penny

An easy way to do this is to pull on all 4 lines (sleevijng in this case), mark with a sm. point magic marker across all four lines and use that as the end fold for the loop you'll be making. Keeps it real simple. Don't forget to knot the end of your lines and burn them so they dont' fray. Keep your loops big enough to work with. BB Penny

Good morning, Do you know how to equalize your lines? Though I'm not sure the lines you speak of are suppose to be all the same length. I'm on hold for buggying. Usually this time of year I have to stay away from it, so I don't over extend muscles I need for indoor flying. Unless...... the next two weeks I get the opportunity. But...... I better just stick to outdoor practice.. dog gone it. BB Penny

I'm not laughing either. It is also extremely important to *check your area.. Setting up to close to people, or objects is only a few of the ways that flying a kite can turn into a disaster. Being aware of logs, and holes that you might fall into. When we see people coming towards the kites we holler, "People on the Beach" that means be aware and for beginners to take the kite down. Another piece of advice. Don't play in the road. And don't feed the animals.... oh, wait that's advice for something else. Safety First.......... BB Penny
