I'm not much help, but I would suggest emailing Pauly for the plans. He's great about sending that info on. I don't have his email at work, but could find it if you need it, or you might go to the kone web page to find him. Tell him I send my hello's.. oh, and I'd suggest making his stack of no-sew indoor diamond kites. BB Penny

Who me sidetracked? never! Actually I was one of those kids who talked so fast people just nodded and pretended they understood what I said. Kewl, bring the delta. It's been a while. eww. I really dislike the gym we'll be in. The Middleschool gym is so awesome, hopefully we'll get into that again. We'll be looking to say hey Saturday! BB Penny

We don't care where you post. The posting police rank right up there with the fashion police in my mind. OOps... that might be John. I take it all back. Thanks for the kind words. I'd love to see more of Tinkham and Scott flyiing, too. It's good for us to see others. And we always enjoy our visits. That was the first advice I ever got from Kathy Goodwind on how to become a better flyer to go see other flyers. OOps... Kathy's married, does she have a new name? John? Inquiring minds want to know. Congratulations Kathy! Kewl, an indoor... darn... I should pull mine out and practice on it. ewww.. I'm into the 1.5 this week. I don't want to change. There's just not enough time! You better fly all you can while you've got the time! I better go get ready. Have fun!!! darn.... now should I pull out that indoor..... ewww.. that's work... hmm... but I've got time...... ohhh! decisions! Penny.... wandering away... mumbling... wondering... hey mousie.. you got inside yet? J.D. are you practicing? Moon~indoors yet? Ron are you practicing? I don't want any excuses... like, I don't have a place, or someone to practice with... We need you. Of course I know my guys are practing.. that's Wayne, and Jerry and Scott for sure, and Hey.. what's happening in Canada.. anyone coming to the Long Beach indoor this weekend? OOps.. I'm off post. Best Breezes, Penny

Good luck. John Mitchell was just in here and he's an indoor Rev. flyer. Sam Ritter, too. Hints? Your're probably learning them all. Try lowering your hands on your handles, practice moving your body to create your air flow when you change direction.. You can get more of a snap turn that way, if that is what your looking for. A float.. put your arms in a float postion. Right arm fully extended, left arm drawn in, just like you would float outside. hmmmmm Try holding it on spot and moving your body back to give the illusion the kite is stopped. Be aware of where you are pointing the bottom of your handles. If you want to go up more... poke them up. You will create your own fly style. Either hands together or not. Extending your hands while you fly looks better, but more importantly it gives you a place to pull back to do that move you need. Are you flying an indoor or a 1.5? Enjoy! Make long term goals and you'll keep at it! Good luck in the competition. Best Breezes, (or should I say "still air"?) Penny

I popped two sets of 90 lb till I got my 200lb. No problems since. Yeah, I totally love it and still don't get to spend enough time with it. BB Penny -
Kewl, Kewl, John we'll finally meet. Sam! Dam! Good to see you! I missed you two this year at convention. Glad to see you poked your shiney head in here! Tell Ann we said hello! BB Penny

Aiiyy, but once you get it up can you control it is? is the point. I competed with a SS agaist Ron Desporado and lost by tenths of a point. I lost control of that kite for less then 2 seconds and it showed. At least to me it did. High winds are challenging, not something i want to do everyday, but you got to love a challenge. Still, when you get bored with a 1.5 contact us. We'll give you move s to work on. BB Penny

aaiiyy, music we be on the lookout for! I'm actually thinking of a little medley of music. Finally after months of searching I've ordered two cd's. and me pirate costume. The worse part is finding the music, isn't it? My only problem is it's for shows not competition so I take a beating on points for songs going over. Arrrrr... tis somthing I live with. BB Penny

Aaarrrr, me been spending long days searchin th' world (internet) over for me new routines. <_< A pirate me wishen to be to sail the big blue (skies) lol me be finding a new jig, new shanty and bucaneer rags! Tis a great grand planning it takes to make me treasured kite sail shipsahpe. At the same time, me be at me ropes end to find me speeches for me Master of Toast club.. hence, me combined th' two. Me be learning pirate speak! So, me be thinking a voice over to explain the long days/months at sea with only the sea and the wind for company. Wind? What be in your skull that pirates spent long hours singing shanties?! Belay that thought! Tis only sense they were kiteflying, so a little ripping sound.... (tear'n me britches apart to make me kite) and I be flying to The crow's nest/blowing wind. If'n it's the music me heart sets on. Arrr, shiver me timbers... me mateys- tis a smile it brings to me face.. Sept. 19th is pirate speak day! Me calendar is marked, and me new routine on it's way! aiiyy... now me thinks I be liken to fly to Peter Pan's song... "I'll never grow up" What say ye? BB Pirate Penny

Merry Chirstmas! Hope you all had a good one. Careful on the beaches. I know the Tsunamai reports say they can't touch our coast, but that's only from what little records they have. I keep dreaming all the kitefliers are going to be taken out by a tsunami. Poor Asia!! Wen, are you ok??? Over 5,000 dead in various countries so far, not from that 8.9 earthquake, but from the tsunami. Wish I could find a page with a path. Cody... stay away from the beach. If you see big water quit kissing the girls toes and get to higher ground. Hope you all have a safe and happy holiday! Best Breezes, Penny
