I didn't try out for the Bremerton City talent show last year, but this year I did. Everytime I go back it seems like the stage has gotten smaller. I was in for a shock when I went in and they told me... "The stage has gotten smaller' 6 ft. less, I think in every direction. Lights, down, curtains hung different. oh boy. So it was pretty ugly at tryouts last night. I had just shortened my lines and it wasn't enough I explained to the judges that I had just been informed of the new construction... but could go home and make shorter lines. So we'll see... will I make it in? I won't know till Nov. 23. But the small amount of room I'll be in, I don't think I'll be putting anything difficult in after all. Steve did tell me I had flown clean routines there in past, with the exception of a catch at the end, due to the (this is a dirty word) airconditioner and bad planning on my part. Even blind folded I didn't fall off the stage... ahhh sometimes the little accomplishments are so important. So much to do and so little time to fly. Have a great day. BB Penny

David, I know you.. you came that way. Have you seen the little butterfly's you wind the rubber band about 35 times, put it in a card or book and it comes spinning out if when you open it? Interpetation of the weather channel forcast: 5-10 mph.. nothing 10-15 mph something 15-20 mph wind! 20 mph + vented kites needed. Bring equipment for all weather. Our clean and rain forcast almost had us snowed in at the ocean! No one mentioned snow and it was the first time it had stuck there in 21 yrs. according to the locals. BB Penny

Hi Aralsopp, Anywhere we can view a picture of this kite? I'm unfamiliar with it. Kites coming out of the bag ready to fly are only ready to fly in favorable winds. Trying to fly in winds that are to light for that paticular kite is the most common mistake made. Adjusting your kite is acceptable, just remember where the defaults are so incase you have trouble. If you point the *bottom of your quad handles up, the kite goes up, if you point them down the kite comes down. Could that be why the kite is coming down after you launch it? Good luck with the kite! I forgot to get a picture of the list with who donated the items for you guys. It was very nice! I'm sorry. I did however, put your cards inside the items, then one on the outside so they could be viewed. This is good and bad. I didn't keep one for myself. There was also a list of a few web sites (donators included) as well as the kite clubs, stores, and cities in the N.W. that have festivals. And a note on safety. That should get them started. Shrink wrapped and sent on it's merry way. I miss it. The people who picked up the basket were very impressed and grateful for the basket. I sent pictures to a few of you, but I can't figure out how to shrink them down to put in kitelife.com, yet. No promises on that one though. I can't say thank you all enough. At work they thought I was crazy, but they liked it. (of course they always think I'm crazy... but you know... I'm crazy, my friends are insane)

Hi John, You know I'm pretty computer illiterate, but I used both "go backs" after playing in My Controls when an avatar I chose was to big and both go back buttons take you back to "Start Over" ughhh.. None of what I changed was there. Is there anyway you can make the go backs take you back to the information that you inputed to fix whatever needs fixing? Not like you don't have enough to do.. right? Just curious. Tks! Penny
