  1. The limit is 100 concurrent subscriptions. First one to achieve it gets a free kite...
  2. From what I've read.... The Super is faster as the smaller sail offers less resistance but only by a little bit.
  3. Copy and Paste, kite review section. Great review.
  4. 977 and that's the ballgame......
  5. Recent duallie convert so excuse ignorance, can go in the bottom of the spine with a Velcro flap or mount on the spine itself?
  6. The Prism website has some good step by step instructions. It shows inputs as well as the kite in the animations. I think it's in the "Pilots Lounge". It's in one of the drop down menus.
  7. Do I need BIMDAS for that?
  8. Rev bag is really good! Fits a heap of kites (9 revs, a 6 foot Rok, a full size duallie.... and others), nearly a dozen line sets so far, handles out the wazoo, parts. The list goes on. I throw my banner and pole in to roll up. Stakes in the outer pocket. Build is quality and all fits across my car boot! Can't recommend it highly enough.
  9. Don't cut me any slack, what if I hadn't realized my mistake. Pick me up as much as you need to. Oh, we're not upside down in Oz, we're inverted....
  10. That's my point. Stake your straps and wind from them TO the kite. Not the other way. Edit: I've re-read and got it arsed about. I've got to stop reading while moving around site! Work is cutting into my forum time. ..... er, carry on all.
  11. Why from the kite back to staked straps?
  12. Would it be much like the Variable Vents in some dual line kites?
  13. "Famous" more like hack! I started off trying to fly it like a Rev. Boy was that totally different. Soft and graceful not at all like a B2 in 30!
  14. I don't think we need to see that....
  15. Just worried about you "blowing" a sail, in freezing temps, with 30+ winds, in the dark, with only moonlight........sounds like a rough night ! But if you caught that on video......
  16. I always have a roll of surveyors ribbon (pink) to put on my stakes if I suspect the bright pink golf ball isn't going to be enough! I've been known to put a length off a bridge rail as a direction indicator. Using it for a tail could be fun.
  17. At 20mph I am considering changing frames to a 3 wrap in my Rev B2 standard! The vented or XTRA Revs will be really "on song" in those winds! Just be sure to use the right frame!
  18. Just a query, given the 9 foot wingspan would a 4 wrap frame exhibit similar distortion as a 3 wrap in a 7.5 foot wingspan? Then about a 2 wrap in the 6 foot of the B2? Given they are all the same diameter.
  19. Extra tidbits; Carl Robertshaw made the centre V deeper on the Masterpiece Rev 1's he makes to connect the wings more.
  20. I wanted one as I have always felt the need to quantify everything. After some advice I held off getting one for a couple of months. In that time I was able to read the speed much better. I spent the money on a feather banner instead. Put it off for a month or 2 and just rely on feel. A Beaufort scale helps.
  21. I'll frequently exceed the wind range on my B2.....
  22. Want some warm fuzzies? If buying a kite and you get a bit of discount, donate it to Kitelife. Lots of warm fuzzies.
  23. You're all a bit fruity... Damn this geography.
  24. Happy 4th of July to all my American brothers and sisters.
